The Guanxue Edition was written by Feng Congwu, the Great Confucian of Guanxue in the Ming Dynasty, and continued to be edited by Qing Dynasty Guanxue scholars such as Wang Xinjing, Li Yuanchun, and He Ruilin, and is an important document for understanding the history of Guanxue, the figures of Guanxue, and the ideas of Guanxue. Although scholars have previously sorted out and proofread the book, due to the complexity of the engraving of the edition of the Guan Xue Bian and the continuation of the past dynasties, the existing point proofreading has more or less problems in the literature income and arrangement style.

Over the past few years, Professor Wei Dong has investigated in detail the publication and renewal of the "Guan Xue Bian" and completed the book "New Edition of Guan Xue". The book points out that Feng Congwu's "Guan XueBian" had two kinds in the Ming Dynasty, namely, a single edition and a collection of editions, and that the collected editions were further revised on the basis of the single edition, so their content was more perfect. In the Qing Dynasty, the supplement to Feng's "Guan Xue Bian" was divided into two series: Wang Xinjing- Wang Chenglie- Zhou Yuanding, Liu Dejiong, Li Yuanchun, and He Ruilin, on which the two series were based, and the bases of the Guan Xue Bian were not different, coming from the collection and the single edition, respectively. During the Guangxu period, the Fengxi Caotang Ben, presided over by Bai Jingwei and co-ordinated by He Ruilin and Liu Guyu, was selected and merged according to the principle of "one person, one transmission", and the supplements of the above two series were selected and merged, which shows that the Bai Shi engraving is not a summary of all the contents of the "Guan Xue Compilation", but has the nature of selection. These studies are not found in the previous point schoolbook.

The book "New Edition of GuanXue" uses a total of 10 editions of the "Guanxue Compilation" (including the "Continuation Edition") since the Ming and Qing dynasties, with reference to 2 point school books, and the reference books are more complete. Among them, Feng Congwu's "Guan Xue Compilation" in the Zhao inscription is handwritten, which is not found in other engravings, and the style of the whole book is also different from other engravings, which can probably show the appearance of the Ming Dynasty's single line "Guan Xue Compilation".

Moreover, according to the categories of "Preface Records", "Records of Ordinary Cases", "Previous Compilations" and "Main Compilations", this book includes all the contents of different versions of the "Guan Xue Compilation" in the past according to the categories, and the arrangement is more reasonable and intuitive. The five volumes of the "Zhengbian" range from the Northern Song Dynasty to the Yang Shuchun of the late Qing Dynasty, during which the various continuations of the Guanxue Compilation by Qing Dynasty scholars were compiled chronologically, including a biography of a person who existed in different versions, editor's notes, and so on. This kind of rearrangement and comprehensive income not only makes up for the shortcomings of the incomplete income of the previous school-based literature, but also avoids the shortcomings of arranging different "GuanXue Continuations" separately and not clearly showing the overall picture of Guanxue, so that readers can have a more intuitive understanding of the entire history of Guanxue and Guanxue figures, and can also understand the meaning of the continuation of different Guanxue scholars.

This book is not only a rearrangement of different editions of the Guan Xue Bian and the Continuation Edition of the past, but also includes a large number of Qing Dynasty or modern literature closely related to Guan Xue, and the inclusion documents are more comprehensive. For example, the book has a "post-compilation" that includes the main biographical materials of the late Qing Dynasty scholars Bai Jingwei, He Ruilin, and Liu Guyu; in the "Collected Works", it is a compilation of the "Guanzhong Humanities Biography", "Guanzhong Humanistic Later Biography", "Shuguanzhong Humanistic Biography" and Li Yuanchun's "Zili Fu", "Qin Fu", and "Continuing Qin Fu" to reflect the relationship between the Ming and Qing Dynasties and the Guanzhong humanities; the "Chart Record" is of positive significance for understanding the compilation of Guanxue historical documents, the collection of Guanxue historical documents, the situation of Guanxue scholars, and the basic features of Guanxue flux.

In addition, different from the previous schoolbook, this book has annotated and explained difficult words, important figures, cultural allusions, etc., and adopts the method of following the text and following the words after the paragraph, and comments and summarizes the brushwork and characters of the "Guan Xue Bian", which is particularly conducive to scholars reading the "Guan Xue Bian" and understanding the historical changes, important figures, ideological interests, personality meteorology, etc. of Guan Xue.

The book "New Edition of Guanxue" comprehensively shows the version and source flow of the original edition of the Guanxue Compilation and its supplementary literature, highlights the historical development of Guanxue and the style of scholars, and is currently the most complete collection of Guanxue literature, which has important reference value for future Guanxue research. in Mivenco
