"Yan" was only released on October 14 this year, and won the "62nd Japan Record Awards" in about two and a half months of release. This is not only the first time in the 10 years since LiSA's mainstream debut that it has won this award, but also the solo female singer has won the award after four years since Kanai Nishino.
LiSA burst into tears when she won the award, saying: "I am able to stand here like this now, really because there are many people who support me to have today, really thank you very much." She also said that when she quarreled with her mother and ran away from home to Tokyo, she really did not expect that her future self would stand in such a place, "I really feel very happy that there is such a future ahead of the road with everyone."
After the awards ceremony, LiSA also posted photos of the day's events (click to see) and short articles through his official Twitter. She said: "At the moment of being called by name (winning), many scenes and faces (seen) along the way came to mind. This is an award that has been won by working hard with everyone. Hopefully, we all have the best future as well. Today is also a good day! Thank you! ”
In addition, the "62nd Japan Record Awards" has a new "Special International Music Award" this year, and the popular Korean boy band Bulletproof Youth League (BTS) is the first singer to win this award. They are also the only foreign singers to win this year.
The Bulletproof Youth League also specially recorded Japan's acceptance speech for this purpose. Jin Said: "This year the world is in a difficult situation, and at such moments, music has become a greater force. J-hope said: "If everyone can add a little energy to our songs, we will be very happy." ”
They brought performances of Dynamite and Life Goes On.
