Fuxin, Liaoning is the birthplace of Mongolian medicine in the country, generation after generation of Mongolian medicine people shoulder the mission, seize the opportunity of reform and development, and carry out a magnificent transformation again and again, from the initial lack of health resources, poor conditions, less equipment, is gradually moving towards the standardized, standardized development track.
Mongolian medicine is a unique Mongolian medical technology and medical theory, as well as diet, living, medicine and external treatment methods formed by the Mongolian Lerjin tribe in the long-term hunting, nomadic and agricultural life, with national characteristics and regional characteristics. As early as the Ming and Qing dynasties, many monasteries such as Ruiying Temple in Lejin (Fumeng County) in Mongolia successively established the "Menbaza Cang (Mongolian Medical College)", trained more than 4,000 Mongolian doctors, and sent a large number of outstanding Mongolian medical talents to the three northeastern provinces and Inner Mongolia, Tibet, Qinghai, Gansu and other provinces and regions, laying the foundation for the inheritance and development of Mongolian medicine in China. After the founding of New China, under the brilliant illumination of the party's ethnic policy, under the correct leadership and cordial care of the party and governments at all levels, Mongolian medicine, a national treasure, has received great attention. In 1952, the first Mongolian medical school was established, in 1960, the Motherland Medical (Mongolian Medicine) Research Institute was established, in 1970 the Mongolian Pharmaceutical Factory was established, in 1978 the new Mongolian Medical Research Institute was restored, and the official operation began in 1981.

At present, Fuxin has 7 Mongolian medical institutions, and has formed a Mongolian pharmaceutical industry foundation with Liaoning Provincial Mongolian Medical Hospital and Fuxin Mongolian Medicine Co., Ltd. as the leader, township health centers as the hub, and village and community health centers as the bottom of the network. Liaoning Mongolian Medical Hospital is a national key ethnic medicine hospital, is the only set of medical, scientific research, teaching, pharmacy, rehabilitation, preventive health care, tourism and culture of the seven in one of the "three grade A" ethnic medicine hospital, opened 33 specialized outpatient clinics, of which the department of hematology is the national clinical key specialty, the national ethnic medicine key specialty, etc., the patients throughout the country and nearly 15 countries. In 2007, "Mongolian Medicine for the Treatment of Aplastic Anemia" was listed by the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine as a key specialty construction project in the "Eleventh Five-Year Plan", and in August 2011, after multi-center verification, mongolian medicine had an effective rate of 91.4% in the treatment of hemorrhage (re-obstruction), and the cure and remission rate reached 65.7%, which was rated as a national intangible cultural heritage. Founded in 1970, Fuxin Mongolian Medicine Co., Ltd. is the earliest Mongolian medicine production enterprise established in The State Nationalities Commission and other ministries and commissions approved as a designated production enterprise for ethnic medicines in 1997; in 2013, the "Fuxin Mongolian Medicine" trademark was rated as "Liaoning Province Famous Trademark", producing six dosage forms, seven series, 60 varieties of Mongolian chinese patent medicine. In July 2018, Fumeng County was named "The Birthplace of National Mongolian Medicine" by the China Association of Ethnic Medicine; in October 2020, the Bai Fengming Studio of the National Famous Mongolian Doctor was officially established in Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, becoming an important carrier for inheriting and promoting the culture of Chinese and Mongolian medicine.

Through the joint efforts of the CPPCC at the provincial and municipal levels and all aspects of society, the development of Fuxin Mongolian medicine has been included in the "14th Five-Year Plan" for the national economic and social development of Liaoning Province, and the goal of standardization, standardization and industrialization development has been established. A series of exciting policies and guarantees such as "inheriting the essence, keeping the integrity and innovation", "attaching equal importance to traditional Chinese and Western medicine", and "strengthening the province of traditional Chinese medicine" have inserted wings for Mongolian medicine and Mongolian medicine.
