When I sat in front of the TV set and watched the lectures of Shangde and The Academy of Calligraphy and Painting, it was as if I had returned to my childhood, sitting in a simple classroom, listening to the lecture of the knowledgeable 95-year-old enlightened teacher Qi Deming talking about the ancient way and talking about the world...
I am eighty years old, and I have focused on literature and history for decades. Although I interact with many calligraphers and painters, I don't know anything. Especially when commenting on the flowers, birds, characters, and landscapes of calligraphy and painting friends, I deeply feel that the knowledge of calligraphy and painting is insufficient.
On September 17 this year, I participated in the study of Suntech and Xiangshu Calligraphy and Painting Institute, and I had the honor of participating in the Study of Shangde and Xiangshu Calligraphy and Painting Institute through mobile phone, computer and TELEVISION.
Class teacher Yu Lin and Li Qi. It was personally taught by Shangde and Chen Mo, president of the Xiang calligraphy and painting institute, and Ouyang Qingmo and Qu Hanshan, two vice presidents. I began to systematically learn the basics of calligraphy and painting.

During the class, several teachers patiently, tirelessly, and scientifically explained each painting from pen to ink, color, layout, drawing method, and detailed explanation. I deeply feel the charm of Chinese painting.
When explaining the painting, the teacher emphasized: how to color the line brush is dry and wet, thick and light, heavy and light, fast and slow just right. The collection of works is clear, the whole is not loose, and the body and artistic conception are rich and diverse. Only the exquisite painting skills, the true feelings are revealed, and the feelings are unrestrained; can we clearly reflect the taste of painting beauty, the ideal of beauty, and the artistic conception of beauty. I am like a toddler, step by step by the teacher to help me take the right path; to shake off the clouds and fog of the journey, suddenly cheerful, ushered in a brilliant sunrise...
My calligraphy and painting friends were very happy to learn to paint in my twilight years. Calligraphers and painters Dong Zhanbao and Wang Shiping sent brushes, rice paper, ink and felt. Lin Heqing, a famous calligrapher and people's writer and artist in Chaozhou, Guangdong Province, who was thousands of miles away, and Wang Hongfa, a people's artist, wrote several humble poems of the Shangde Calligraphy and Painting Institute on the same day. Bai Fengming, a folk (ceramic) art master and people's writer and artist in Hebei Province, wrote in contrast to the ink treasure to express his respect for the diligent and dedicated teachers.
