(1) The Second National Congress of the Communist Party of China

Date: July 16-23, 1922

Location: No. 625, Fudri, South Chengdu Road, Shanghai (now No. 30, Fudri, No. 7, North Chengdu Road)

Participants: Twelve delegates. There are Chen Duxiu, Zhang Guotao, Li Da, Xiang Ying, Cai Hesen, Deng Zhongxia, Gao Junzi, Shi Cuntong, Li Zhenying, Yang Mingzhai, Wang Gemei, and Chen Wangdao.

The attendees were: Deng Pei, Xiang Jianyu (female), Zhang Tailei, Deng Enming, Lin Yunan, etc.

The number of party members: a total of 195 (including 50 in Shanghai, 30 in Changsha, 32 in Guangdong, 20 in Hubei, 20 in Beijing, 9 in Shandong, 8 in Zhengzhou, 3 in Sichuan, 8 in Russia, 4 in Japan, 2 in France, 8 in Germany, and 1 in the United States. There are four female Party members and twenty-one Workers' Party members).

Major resolutions: on "The General Trend of the World and the Communist Party of China"; "The United Front of Democracy"; "The Trade Union Movement and the Communist Party"; The Youth Movement; The Women's Movement; Parliamentary action to join the Third International; Resolutions such as the Constitution of the Communist Party. The Constitution of the Communist Party of China and the Declaration of the Second National Congress of the Communist Party of China were adopted, and the Central Executive Committee was elected.
