Previously announced Japanese horror manga master Junji Ito's long masterpiece "Whirlpool" short animation has been scheduled to start broadcasting in October 2022, June 16 today officially brought a new trailer, bringing director Hiroshi Nagahama's latest message and part of the first episode, let's take a sneak peek.
"Whirlpool" is one of the long masterpieces of Japanese horror manga master Junji Ito, the story begins with the protagonist Kirito Goto's beautiful high school girl and her boyfriend, Saito Shuichi, from the school in Linzhen to the black vortex town where they live, all kinds of strange things begin to spread to everyone in the town, and the curse of the whirlpool spreads throughout the black vortex town...
The Vortex anime is directed by Hiroshi Nagahama (Bug Division) and produced by Production I.G,, who has produced Ghost in the Shell and Psychometrician, and is scheduled to air in Toonami in October 2022.
