When the torrent of the times arrives, each of us can only be a participant, following the torrent for thousands of miles. Seemingly stable political situation, but already surging undercurrents, the Muromachi shogunate seems to be prosperous but only a passing cloud. The Ashikaga Sect brought the Muromachi shogunate to its peak, but with the assassination of himself, he left his nine-year-old son alone, which was the biggest foreshadowing of the coming of the Sengoku period.

At the time of the assassination of Yijiao, the eldest son, Yisheng, was only nine years old and fell from his horse and died a year after he succeeded to the throne. He was succeeded by his younger brother Miharu, who later became Ashikaga Yoshimasa. Ashikaga Yoshikazu himself was not interested in politics, and at that time there was a situation in which many guardian daimyo heirs were in dispute, and as a shogun, Yoshimasa should have urged the families to determine the head of the family as soon as possible, but Yoshimasa chose to ignore the attitude, and the Spo family and the Hatoyama family were unresolved, which led to the later Onin Rebellion.

Ashikaga Yoshimasa
Due to the fact that Yoshimasa had been married for many years but had not given birth to an heir, under pressure from the political situation, Yoshimasa at that time had to make his younger brother Yoshiko as the heir. Originally, Yishi was unwilling, in case you had a child at that time, I should do it, so I found Hosokawa Masamoto as a guardian, and agreed that even if there were heirs after the government, he could only become a monk, so that Yishi would still be a stable heir. Coincidentally, Yi Zheng did indeed give birth to a son, Yi Shang, and in order to resist Yi Shang, Yi Shang's mother found Yamana Zongquan as his guardian.
East-West army distribution
In 1467, with the civil unrest in the Hatoyama Kingo family as the trigger, the two sides each drew the daimyo, and in May there was a western army with Ashikaga Yoshinori, Hosokawa Katsumoto, Shiro Yoshitoshi, and Hatoyama Masamune as a faction, as well as Ashikaga Yoshinori, Yamana Muneyoshi, Spo Yoshinori, and Hatoyama Yoshinori. The war lasted for eleven years, until the commanders of the two armies, Hosokawa Katsumoto and Yamana Munemasa, both died, and finally ended hastily. Kyoto was destroyed like never before, and a large number of people went into exile, which directly led to the decline of the authority of the samurai. At the same time, this war led to the guardian daimyō of the East Sea, Kiuchi, San'in and other areas to participate in the war, and the territorial state was ruled by the guardian dai. And these guardian generations directly replaced, directly leading to the decline of later Spo, Hatoyama, Uesugi and other giants, while sending another very important message, the era of Shimokaku has come.

During the Yingren Rebellion, Yizheng passed the position of general to his son Yi Shang, a young and promising general of the new generation, who tried to save the prestige of the general with his own strength, and sent troops to enlist the hexagonal Gao Lai who had embezzled the general's manor, but unfortunately fell ill and died on the battlefield. Since Yi Shang had no heir, Yi Zheng had to come out again as a general, and at the same time let Yi Shi's son Yi Cai serve as the heir. Later, with the death of Yoshishi and Yoshimasa, Yoshiaki's position was not very stable, and although Yoshiaki attacked Hexagon Takarai, successfully defeated and exiled him, hosokawa Masamoto was still very dissatisfied.
Ashikaga Yoshinori
In 1493, Yoshinori and Hatayama went to Hanoi to attack the Hatayama Ki family, but as soon as he left on the front foot, kyoto was controlled by Hosokawa Masamoto on the back foot, and he forced Kiyoaki, the second son of the Horitsu Gongfang, to be a general. Subsequently, an army was sent to attack Yicai, and finally Yicai was defeated and captured, imprisoned in Long'an Temple, and the history called Ming Ying coup d'état. After that, the shogunate power was completely monopolized by Hosokawa Masamoto, and the phenomenon of "Shimo kagami" gradually became popular, and the previous stable rule from the shogun to the guardian daimyo could not be maintained, and the power fell by the wayside, and the Sengoku era began.
Among them, the "Echizen Guardian Generation" Asakura Toshikei and the lord Shiro Yoshiyoshi were active in the Western Army during the Onin Rebellion, and when Hosokawa Katsumoto drew him in on the condition of the Echizen Guardian, he turned his face and immediately betrayed the lord, returned to Echizen to occupy the territory of the Spo family, and fought against the Kai clan, who was also the guardian generation. Taking advantage of this opportunity to harvest a large number of public houses and monasteries, he successfully replaced the Spoo family as a veritable Echizen guardian.
Toshiaki Asakura
Hojo Hayafun, the founder of the Hojo family, was originally just a guest general of the Imagawa family, and after helping his nephew to serve as the head of the Imagawa family, he was given a place of land. Later, Hojo Hayun implemented the policy of "four princes and six people" within the domain, attached importance to the development of agriculture, won the hearts of the people, and attracted many Izu residents to come to the rescue. Hayayun then led 500 men across Suruga Bay, landed on the west bank of the Izu Peninsula and attacked the Horikoshi Imperial Palace, and spent only five years pacifying the Izu Kingdom. At the same time, he used Izu's military transportation route, Mt. Ryoyama Castle, as his residence, and then captured Sagami's Odawara Castle, which became the earliest daimyō of the Sengoku period, and later this Odawara Castle also witnessed the demise of the Hojo clan.

Similar to Asakura, Hojo's origins were common after the "Onin Rebellion", and although the shogun was challenged many times before, he was still limited to guarding the daimyo, but this kind of encroachment on the domain of the lord as a guardian had never been before. It was the order of the times that had been completely broken, the previously strict hierarchy no longer worked, and everyone began to look forward to it. Completely relying on their own strength, relying on their own wisdom, and using force to open up their own world in this era. As if in China, "the prince will be in a kind of hu" momentum, since then Japan's Sengoku period has fully begun, Imakawa Yoshimoto, Oda Nobunaga, Tokugawa Ieyasu, Toyotomi Hideyoshi...
