Shu Xingbei was born in Jiangsu Province in 1907 and studied at Qilu University in 1925. Theoretical physics studies. In 1941, Beam Star North derived the energy levels of the ground states of harmonic oscillators, hydrogen atoms and hydrogen-like atoms, which was published in the British Journal of Philosophy.
Shu Xingbei studied the basic problems of relativity, due to the impact of the war, the research was repeatedly interrupted and failed to go deeper, and in 1965, he wrote the manuscript of "Special Relativity".
Atmospheric dynamics studies. In 1952, Shu Xingbei went to Shandong University to abandon the study of relativity to study meteorological science and discuss atmospheric dynamics from the perspective of physics. Salvage of ICBM warheads
In the late 1970s, China first tested the launch of an intercontinental missile, and the West tracked the landing point of the icing missile warhead in an attempt to grab the warhead data capsule. The State Oceanic Administration temporarily set up an office to study the time when the sea calmed down after the warhead fell into the water and stirred up huge waves, and grabbed the data capsule in the shortest possible time. When the relevant personnel visited him, because of the high degree of secrecy, they asked him in small talk, and after the warhead fell into the water, it stirred up a hundred-meter wave to a time of complete calm. He thought about it and replied that it would take about 10 minutes at most. He later explained that this is a wave energy dissipation problem, which cannot be described by trigonometric functions, sines and cosines, and can only be solved in exponential form.
In 1980, the Navy salvage unit only took 5 minutes and 20 seconds to retrieve the warhead data capsule, and Shu Xingbei used a simple mathematical model to solve the allocation project, which shows the solidity of his academic theory.
Donation of remains
In 1983, while he was seriously ill, he asked to donate his body for medical research. After Shu Xingbei died of illness in Qingdao, the family submitted an application for the donation of the body to the relevant units to complete the handover of the remains.
