The reporter learned from the Gaoping District Emergency Management Bureau today that the Nanchong Anhan Emergency Rescue Team won the second and third prizes of the rescue of individual subjects in the "Sichuan First Social Force Water Emergency Rescue Skills Competition" jointly organized by the Sichuan Provincial Emergency Management Department and the Nanchong Municipal People's Government.
On September 23, the competition opened in Langzhong City, with 19 emergency rescue teams and more than 200 team members from the province participating. The competition mainly sets up rescue subjects such as unpowered boat rescue, rope system island rescue, rubber boat to reef rescue, rubber boat interception and approach rescue, island search and rescue transfer, etc., which are highly professional and difficult. The competition project restored the rescue of heavy rain and flood disasters in Henan this year, and many people fell into the water due to the overturning of many ships on the shore. It not only tests the rescuer's operation technology from the shore, but also tests the rescuer's ability to deal with emergencies and self-help. The participants of the Nanchong Anhan Emergency Rescue Team said that through the competition, they learned the superb skills of the province's advanced emergency rescue team and accumulated experience for scientific and efficient water emergency rescue.
The staff of the Gaoping District Emergency Management Bureau said that the competition played a role in promoting training with the competition, and further improved the response ability of the emergency rescue team in the whole district to deal with emergencies in the water area.
