Wang Pu (1908-1940), also known as Wang Yingya, was a native of Xingcheng, Liaoning. The prototype of "Guan Jingtao" in the novel "Wildfire Spring Wind Fighting Ancient City". In 1937, he was appointed colonel of the 3rd Column and 6th District Of the Pseudo-Police Defense Team stationed in Baoding Day. On August 31, 1938, he held high the banner of righteousness, opposed the Anti-Japanese Resistance, and was appointed commander of the guerrilla army of the Jin-Cha-Ji Military Region. In 1939, he joined the Communist Party of China. In the Battle of the Hundred Regiments, he led the troops to destroy the section of the Pinghan Road Xinle to Wangdu Fangshun Bridge, with a total length of more than 70 kilometers. On November 16, 1940, the guerrilla army was surrounded by Japanese troops in Quyang County, Hebei Province, and he personally strafed the Japanese army with machine guns. Finally, with the last bullet in the pistol, he killed himself at the age of 32. In September 2014, it was included in the first list of 300 famous anti-Japanese heroes and heroes.
