"Guan Guan Ju Dove, in the River Continent, Lady, Gentleman Good"
This well-known poem "Guan Ju" was sung by the people of Fangxian County by folk songs, and has been passed down by word of mouth for thousands of years and has endured for a long time. Fangxian was called Fangling in ancient times, and was named after "thousands of miles, mountains and forests, its solid high tombs, and if there are houses". Fangxian, with its mellow culture and long vein, is one of the birthplaces of Chu culture, where traditional culture and modern civilization are perfectly blended.
As an ancient Chinese country with a civilization of 5,000 years, China has a long tradition of poetics and a splendid poetic culture. The Book of Verses is the most proud of this, and it is our extremely valuable cultural heritage. It is delicate and deep, melodious and deep. It is not only the earliest collection of poetry in China, but also deeply affects the development of Chinese society as a "classics".
For thousands of years, people have been following in the footsteps of this collector, compiler, and praiser of the Book of Poetry. In Fang County, there are not only many cultural relics of Yin Jifu, but also many folklore about him. Fangxian is the hometown of Yin Jifu, the compiler of the Book of Poetry, and one of the birthplaces of the Book of Poetry. The Qing "Fangxian Chronicle" says: "The mountainous forests of Fangling (Fangling) are mountainous, the plains are few, the people are slash-and-burn, and they are fierce and impatient. The sound is close to Qin, and the song is good..." For many years, Fangling folk songs have been passed down from generation to generation.
The second major feature of Fangxian is rice wine. Fangling yellow wine, has a long history, according to legend, when King Xuan of Zhou, the King of Chu sent the Fangling man Yin Jifu (the author of the Western Zhou Taishi "Book of Poetry") as an emissary to pay tribute to King Xuan of Zhou, Yin Jifu brought a "white grass" (yellow wine) produced by the Fangling people to offer to King Xuan of Zhou, the treasure was presented to the temple, and the incense was full of incense, and King Xuan of Zhou tasted it, praised its beauty, and was named "Imperial Wine of Fengjiang". In the 18 dynasties from the Western Zhou Dynasty to the Ming Dynasty, a total of 23 imperial figures were associated with Fangxian Yellow Wine, which is a major spectacle of wine culture in China and the world.
Today, Fangxian Xiguan has absorbed and drawn on the existing intangible cultural heritage of Fangxian County, focusing on the characteristic cultures such as rice wine and poetry, resurrecting the historical and cultural heritage of the old city of Fangxian County, restoring the unique architectural style of the old street, and creating another tourist area with beautiful environment and unique style. With "Poetry Culture", "Rice Wine Culture", "Zhongxiao Culture" and "Tea Horse Culture" as the main line, the scenic spot brings together six major consumption formats of retail workshops, light snacks, theme catering, theme accommodation, leisure and entertainment, and cultural stations, and interprets poetry through ancient building restoration, landscape design, and sketch setting, emphasizing the historical landmarks of node scenes, and jointly builds it into a "Chinese poetic life micro-vacation destination".
Walking in the streets and alleys of Xiguan Impression, you can see reeds, artemisia annua, dragon grass, copper money grass and other poetry plants everywhere, and landscape elements such as road paving, statues, and sketches are interpreted around the "Book of Poetry".
The scenic spot has five major cultural squares: Zhounan Square, Guanju Square, Caiwei Square, Luming Square and Guofeng Square, and the names of each square are taken from the verses of the book of poetry, such as Luming Square, which has the meaning of "Yo Yo Deer Ming, Eating Wild Apple".
Walking in various streets and alleys such as Qianye Lane, Youlong Lane, Hongtian Lane, Qushui Street, etc., you can feel the poetry in each ancient lane, allowing tourists to immerse themselves in a warm and harmonious poetic cultural neighborhood.
