The strange thing is that there is a pond in front of the Maya Shrine and the Lumbini Museum, and the water is crystal clear and covers a wide area. Although it shares a pond with the Lumbini Museum, its roots can be traced back to myths and legends thousands of years ago.
At that time, Mrs. Maya was about to give birth, and according to local custom, the pregnant daughter needed to return to her mother's house for a period of time. So Lady Maya took the unborn Shakyamuni from the Kapilava kingdom back to her mother's house in Tianjian City. It was summer, the weather was hot and dry, and when Mrs. Maya passed through Lumbini, she bathed in the pool to dissipate the heat. Who expected that after coming ashore from the pond, the abdominal pain would not stop, and it would give birth under a Brahyama tree not far away.
Newborns are still crying in their infancy, and it takes a long time of teaching to learn to walk. Shakyamuni was not an ordinary person, he was born from the ribs under the right armpit of Lady Maya, and he learned to stand without any crying at birth. What is even more surprising is that this newborn is chanting words that others can't understand, dancing with his hands and pointing to the sky.
It was from birth that he became the founder of Buddhism, and Lumbini became the most Buddha-like city because of the birth of Shakyamuni. Later people built the Shrine of Lady Maya to commemorate her deeds, not only because of the queen of Hinduism, but also because of the founder of Buddhism.
From Lumbini, walk on foot or on a bicycle on the Linlian Trail. Breathing in the fresh air and feeling the fragrance of nature, when you arrive at your destination, you reverently take off your shoes on your feet and worship this Lady Maya with a sense of awe.

The most historical sense is also the brick-like stones around the building, the mottled traces, and the dilapidated surface all symbolize the sense of history of a thousand years. The surrounding lawn is overgrown with weeds and the trees are tall and lush, with no trace of modification at all.

The Borneo tree is the most visited place by locals, the place where Lady Maya gave birth to Shakyamuni and surrounded by rocks carved with scenes of the buddha's birth.

Lonely monks, devout steps, ancestral halls illuminated by the sun, blue skies, white soft clouds. It seems that everything has become very beautiful, and the gentle realm given by God makes the humanistic scenery here a rare fantasy.
The ancestral hall in the afterglow is wrapped in the sunset, revealing a hint of kindness, and Mrs. Maya blesses the residents here in a place where people can't see.
