In the tenth year of Yongzheng, Li Fangyi was again commissioned to juzhou zhizhou. In the autumn of the twelfth year of Yongzheng, he returned to Le'an County. After Li Fangyi was imprisoned, the people were in an uproar, Li Zhixian was suffering for the people, so he was convicted, and the people's request to visit the prison was rejected, so they threw money, chickens, and alcohol and food into the prison from outside the wall, and the tile ditch was full for a while. Not long after Li Fangyi was imprisoned, Yongzheng died and Qianlong took over the throne, which was a general amnesty for the world. Li Fangbin's calligraphy is mostly xingshu and calligraphy, and the writing is gentle and elegant, which is different from his daring to speak out, and his writing is round, flowing and beautiful, obviously influenced by Dong Qichang, forming his own style. Li Fangyi's small letter, neat and beautiful, rigorous and gentle, walked the way of the two kings of the Jin and Tang Dynasties. It can be seen that his early calligraphy has undergone a long-term and serious copying and study of the Erwang Yilu calligraphy represented by Dong Qichang, and his grasp of Dong's calligraphy style is also relatively skillful and accurate.
