◆ So is this championship expected for you? Do you feel normal or unexpected?
I didn't expect us to win the championship, in fact, before the final finals, I was always nervous and uneasy, and my heart was not at all steady. ◆ You went from professional football to amateur football, and you have felt a lot this year, right? Is there a sense of loss?
No, I think it's good now, I just like football, I don't necessarily have to be famous through football, what profit, so as long as I still have football in my life, I am very happy, whether it is the Chinese Super League, the Chinese First Division, the amateur team, the key is that there must be in life, so that I can see the team's achievements and growth, I feel very happy, will not feel lost.
Besides, the composition of Chinese football does not necessarily have to be in the Chinese Super League, the foundation of the Chinese First Division, amateur football and the second division team is also a very important part, and our Chinese football is precisely missing in this part, in fact, in foreign countries, this part is precisely an indispensable part of cultivating talents, so after I sold Albin, I have long thought of taking root in youth training, starting from the bottom, this is my own choice, there is nothing to lose. ◆ "Football": Looking back now, what lessons do you have that are worth summarizing?
Zhao Mingyang: The water of professional football is too deep, I have not accurately positioned myself before, made a lot of mistakes, and I have done a lot of self-examination myself. The main reason why we at Albin Club can't do it in the end is firstly related to funds, and second, it is related to management.
At the beginning, I didn't want to play so big, but I have loved Dalian football since I was a child, and I always want to use my ability to take a trophy back to repay the society and give back to the fans, so at that time I remembered to break my wrist with Evergrande, thinking that with the foundation of our Dalian football and some investment, I could play back to the style of Wanda in the past, but I thought it was too simple.
Secondly, our management is too chaotic, especially after the acquisition of Shide, the integration of the two sets of management personnel is not good, resulting in serious internal friction in the club, which makes the original system and order of the entire club have been destroyed, people are scattered, and too many unnecessary expenditures have been added.
I was also holding the mentality of not wanting to let Dalian football talent drain, originally Shide Club did not have some old employees to face the problem of survival, I also wanted everyone to have food to eat, but my idea is too simple, in fact, this is not the idea that professional football should have, professional football is first of all to focus on the interests of the team, can not add too much emotional color, this is my mistake.
The team hasn't improved since. Looking back now, it's also very sad.
My intentions in investing in football are good, but in reality, many people think that I am a piece of fat meat and are eager to eat me. There was a lot of things that happened at the club that I really don't want to mention, when I bought Shide, the storeroom was full of equipment, but then I didn't know how to lose it.
I let some middle management players, and it turned out to be good, I set up my own agency to sign the players to my name, and then in turn talked to my club on behalf of the players about treatment and interests, or introduced our players to the outside agents separately, and joined forces to squeeze the benefits of the club. The club's finances are even more chaotic, and everything can be invoiced and reimbursed.
The contracts signed with foreign aid are also traps, and those who ask us for portrait rights fees after leaving for a long time have sued us to FIFA. There are so many things to sum up. I don't even want to look back now, I think about it with headaches and heartache.
◆ So how do you manage Boyang Club now? What about avoiding this phenomenon?
I concluded that the main reason for the previous club management chaos was that I didn't pay attention to everything, and those who should let go and shouldn't let go didn't grasp the scale. Now my club personnel are not many, the department setting is not so complicated, and then at the beginning of the year to do a good budget, it is not easy to change, the financial system is strict, all aspects related to funds must be personally supervised and approved by me. As for how to use people in the club's usual training games and how to manage players, I am not involved in these things, and general manager Lu Feng is responsible.
Now the club has a heart, and everyone's values are the same. These employees also followed me during the Albin Club period, because they have lost a club, so they are particularly grateful to have such a club now. Although everyone is responsible for a lot of work, but everyone is very involved, because we are now doing such a club must not be based on interests, but in the love of football, the industry is not willing, so do things are extra careful.
◆ Last year, this team seemed to want to rush to the second division, why didn't it impact it? Why wait until this year?
Last year, the tornado took the fifth place, and we have been waiting for the news of the replacement, because we don't know if any team will withdraw, so we can enter as a candidate, but we have not waited until the end of the registration period of the Chinese Football Association and no team has withdrawn, so we have to sort out the team and wait for the next year.
At that time, the team did not rush up, in fact, the employees were still worried about whether I would continue to invest, general manager Lu Feng and I talked very seriously once, but I gave them all a reassurance pill, I will continue to invest, as long as I still have financial resources, I will continue to invest in football in my way, everyone is at ease.
People may think that I have given too much over the years, received too little, and have been discouraged. But I am not such a person who will be easily defeated by reality, many people think that I can't go down the road of football, but I want to continue to go, I have this spirit of persistence, because I really like football too much.

◆ "Football": So after the team rushes to the second division, will there be any further plans?
Zhao Mingyang: My plan is to gain a firm foothold in the second division first, and first to further professionalize the team. After all, we players are all amateur players, although after a year of polishing there has been some progress, but it still needs further experience. I don't want to rush to set any goals for the team, I hope that every step is safe and solid, step by step, really cultivate some people, build our echelon more perfectly, and then think about others.
◆ Now that the investment in the second division is not small, have you thought about your future investment level?
The current situation is really different, now the entire league level has been raised to a higher level, the current amateur league investment level is equivalent to the past B team, and the standard is generally higher than the past B team. Several teams this year have invested tens of millions, and even the surge bonus is prepared according to the 20 million level, which was unimaginable in the past.
Now The Chinese Second Division is the past Middle Division, and many of the current Chinese First Divisions have invested at a level equivalent to the Chinese Super League. At present, the basic annual salary of many Chinese League A players is around 1 million, and the high can reach 3 million.
But our future investment will still be biased towards rationality, because our goal is not to achieve any established height in a short period of time, I have repeatedly said that my investment in football is to cultivate talents, so that more young people in Dalian have professional football to play, and then from our platform there is a certain possibility to climb to a higher platform, which is my original intention to engage in football.
So our investment will still be within our means, because I want to do this business for a long time, I can no longer spend it as hard as I did in the past when I have money, or compete with other teams, and we will have a very reasonable budget to play well in the next year's middle division.
◆ But if you don't increase your investment, aren't you afraid of the loss of your players?
For the time being, it should not be, because we have learned the lesson of loopholes in signing contracts in the past, we are now signing contracts with players more rigorously, and I have long begun to look for personnel to enrich our existing team, while retaining people, while supplementing people, so I am not too worried about anything else.
And our team has a characteristic, that is, nearly 90% of the children are Dalian native, they all have a very strong hometown plot, as long as they can play in the local area, they do not want to go too far for the time being, which is why our team does not have so many big names but can win the championship, because they are all children.
◆ In fact, many people now think that Xu Genbao's model is particularly good, he is not only a good footballer, but also a very successful businessman, both word of mouth, and profits, do you think Boyang can take his road in the future?
It's hard, it's not that you don't want to go, but the times are different, and you can't go if you want to. I and my general manager Lü Feng once talked about the topic of Xu Genbao, When Lü Feng was still working in the Liaoning Football Association, it was around 2005 and 2006, Xu Genbao was selected from all over the country, including some people from Liaoning, when he bought generally about 15-year-old children, the bid at that time was about 200,000 yuan, which was a sky-high price in that era.
Many people can't understand what Xu Genbao wants to do, because at that time, the Chinese national team did not perform well, the league image was not good, it was the lowest valley, but he insisted on starting from the young man, just like copying the bottom of the football stock market, and as a result, after all these years, he was really trained.
