"Qian Xuan Yang Copied" "Quan Tang Poetry" was collected in the Archives of Tsinghua University

Recently, Wu Xuezhao, the executor of Mr. Yang Dai's will, donated to Tsinghua University the original manuscript of "Yang Dai's Lesson Quan Tang Poems" and a photocopy of the manuscript that has just been published. This collection of Tang Poems, carefully and personally determined by Mr. Qian Zhongshu and handwritten by Mr. Yang Dai with a brush, and with Mr. Qian Zhongshu's circle, "rendezvoused" at the Tsinghua University Archives together with Qian Zhongshu and other rare historical materials of Yang Dai and his wife.

The original manuscript of "Yang Dai's Daily Lesson Quan Tang Poems" is bound in 9 volumes in a total of 9 volumes, including nearly 2,000 Tang poems. Mr. Qian Zhongshu personally determined the bibliography of the poems, and Mr. Yang Dai copied one poem every day for nearly 7 years from January 1, 1985 to June 19, 1991. In addition to nearly 2,000 Tang poems, Mr. Yang Dai also left records on the manuscript such as transcription time, caprice feelings, and important itineraries. In some of these places, Mr. Qian Zhongshu made circles with red pens for transcribing handwriting.

See the spirit from the subtleties, and present the exquisite with a sense of simplicity. Mr. Yang Dai once humbled himself that "the words are ugly, very inferior, the hands should not be hearted, although the practice of words is continuous, the progress is limited", but this thick manuscript is upright, straight and powerful, which shows her concentration when she transcribes. The content of nearly 2,000 Tang poems personally selected by Mr. Qian Zhongshu in the manuscript reflects Qian Zhongshu's unique selection criteria for Tang poetry. The "Quan Tang Poetry Record" of "Qian Xuan Yang Copied" has high academic research value and treasured appreciation charm.

At the end of 2008, Mr. Yang Dai gave these precious manuscripts to Wu Xuezhao, and later agreed to publish this selected Tang poem at the suggestion of Wu Xuezhao, and the two-volume "Selected Tang Poems of Qian Zhongshu" was published on the occasion of the 110th anniversary of Qian Zhongshu's birth last year. In July this year, the 110th anniversary of Yang Dai's birth, two volumes of the manuscript photocopy of "Yang Dai's Daily Lesson Quan Tang Poems" were published and distributed, showing readers Mr. Yang Dai's handwriting.

In order to better preserve this thick manuscript, Wu Xuezhao decided to donate it to Tsinghua University, together with Qian Zhongshu and Many other important historical materials of Mr. Yang Dai, as a treasure and display of important figures and physical archives in the Archives of Tsinghua University for permanent preservation.
