Livestream Bar October 8 News French Football announces the shortlist for this year's Best Goalkeeper (Yasin Award). The award's nominees, like the Golden Globes, are selected by 180 journalists from various countries.
The award is a tribute to legendary goalkeeper Yassin and awarded to "the world's best goalkeeper player".

Yassin was a legendary goalkeeper of the former Soviet Union, playing for only one club in Dynamo Kiev in his lifetime, with whom he won five Soviet league titles and three Soviet Cups. For the national team, he represented the soviet union in the 1956 Melbourne Olympics and the 1960 European National Cup, and participated in the World Cup four times with the team. In 1963, Jasin won the European Ballon d'Or and became the only goalkeeper to win a Ballon d'Or.
The Yassin Prize was first established in 2019 and the winner is Brazilian goalkeeper Alisson.
