Zheng Banqiao (1693-1766), name Xie, character Kerou, number Li'an, also known as Banqiao, known as Mr. Banqiao, ancestral home of Suzhou. Zheng Banqiao painted orchids, bamboo and stones all his life, and called himself "the orchid of the four hours, the bamboo of a hundred festivals of evergreen, the stone of undefeated in eternity, and the unchangeable person of thousands of autumns".
