On December 12, the first Chinese college students ski orienteering coach training class opened in Changchun City, and the ski orienteering project will set sail in domestic universities.
The training course invited Yang Hong, head coach of the high-level orienteering team of Sichuan Normal University, national referee and senior cartographer of China Orienteering, and Mr. Liu Guangda, head coach of the ski orienteering team, cross-country skiing team and orienteering team of Changchun Guanghua College. This training course provides systematic training in all aspects of ski orienteering overview, ski orienteering competition rules, ski orienteering competition projects and participation requirements, ski orienteering skills training methods, ski orienteering route regulations and OCAD use.
Orienteering is a widely carried out outdoor sports in the world, ski orienteering is one of the sub-events of orienteering, is a new type of sports, but also one of the competition items of the World University Winter Games, the players in the game in the premise of equipped with a map, need to rush to each point specified on the map one by one punch card, the shortest time is the winner.
This training aims to further promote and popularize campus ice and snow sports, strengthen the basic theoretical knowledge of coaches on ski orienteering, understand and learn the rules of ski orienteering competitions, and more than 40 teachers from all over the country participated in the training.
