As in previous years, the top 64 players in the world rankings after the World Championships will continue to qualify professionally for the new season. Players who have two seasons of professional qualification and enter the second season will also continue to compete on the tour, as well as the top 8 players in a single season who have not qualified professionally through the above channels.

Players who have obtained professional qualifications through the World Snooker Tour "Q School", the World Women's Snooker Tour, the Chinese Billiards Association and other organizations recognized by the WSF (World Snooker Federation) will enter the new season of the Tour.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the WSF Open and the WWPBSA Q Tour Tour will not be available this season, and Q School will add at least two more professional qualifications.
