Shen Du (1357-1434), courtesy name Minze, was a native of Huating (present-day Songjiang, Shanghai). Entering the Hanlin Academy with a good book, Shen Du was deeply appreciated by Zhu Di, the ancestor of Ming Cheng, for his calligraphy in the Taige style, and was praised by him as "Wang Xizhi of my dynasty", and his fame was very important.

Shen Du's work is beautiful throughout the work, the knot body is graceful, the dot painting posture is charming, and the layout is comfortable, which is the typical appearance of his calligraphy.
