On February 12, the official website of the School of History of Nankai University published an obituary that Professor Sun Liqun, an expert in the history of the Qin and Han Dynasties and the History of the Southern and Northern Dynasties of the Wei and Jin Dynasties, died of illness on February 10 at the age of 70.

Born on April 15, 1950, Sun Liqun has long been engaged in the research of ancient Chinese history, teaching ancient Chinese history at the School of History of Nankai University for more than 30 years.

In November 2006, Sun Liqun spoke about "Lü Buwei" on the CCTV tv program "Hundred Family Forums", which became well known to the public. In March 2007, Sun Liqun spoke about "Li Si" in the "Hundred Family Forum", in May of that year, he talked about "The Analysis of The Classics I Read 'Han Feizi]", and in September of that year, he also talked about "Fan Li". In May 2008, he told "Bian Que of the Story of Ancient Chinese Medicine" at the "Hundred Family Pulpit". Yi Zhongtian praised his main style of speaking as "full of economy, confident, not hurried, and eloquent".
