I didn't intentionally choose or insist on a certain sense of painting, everything came from the heart and went with the flow. Seek a deep and peaceful feeling from the heart, and strive to naturally combine the technical beauty and artistic beauty of the work into one. Out of their inner feelings, some recent works prefer to use ink to express a kind of tranquility. Washed out the lead in a plain posture, presenting an eternal historical precipitation. The content integrates realistic elements from the historical style, pays attention to detail portrayal, simple use of color, through the depiction of contemporary mountains, hills and canyons and other realistic objects, the pursuit of song Dynasty painting charm, so that the painting exudes the inner deep simplicity and quiet depth. Everything around me was bustling and I was always looking for a quiet state. For me, maybe only when I paint will I really calm down, no matter what form and content I paint, I am the most relaxed at this time. Through the paintings in the pen, this quiet in the heart can be expressed. This feeling does not need to be deliberately rendered, naturally. Painter Profile
Wang Dong graduated from Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts and Shandong Normal University with a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts degree, and is a visiting scholar of the China Academy of Arts. He is a member of the China Artists Association, a member of the Shandong Artists Association, a director of the Shandong Provincial Chinese Painting Society, a member of the Presidium of the Shandong Young Artists Association, a researcher of the Contemporary Ink Art Research Center of Shandong Normal University, a member of the Art Committee of the Youth Painting Academy of the Chinese Painting Creation Research Institute of the Art Development Center of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and a painter hired by the Shandong Academy of Painting, and is currently working at the Jinan Art Museum (Jinan Painting Academy).
