On June 25, the Crustal Deformation Center of the Sichuan Earthquake Bureau launched a series of celebrations to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. The event first held the ceremony of awarding the "50 Years of Glory in the Party" commemorative medal. Du Bin issued and solemnly wore the "50 Years of Glory in the Party" commemorative medal to 8 veteran party members with more than 50 years of party experience present, introduced the latest progress of the reform and development of the Provincial Earthquake Bureau, and extended festive greetings and high respect to them on behalf of the party group of the Provincial Earthquake Bureau. Du Bin said that the Party Central Committee's decision to issue the "50 Years of Glory in the Party" commemorative medal for the first time fully reflects the ardent concern and respect of the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core for veteran party members. Veteran party members and cadres are the precious wealth of the state and units; they have devoted their painstaking efforts and hard work to the liberation of the Chinese nation, national construction, and the reform and development of the earthquake cause.
Comrade Wang Tingru, a retired cadre who is 92 years old and 72 years old in the party, spoke on behalf of the old party members. He passionately shared his mental journey of experiencing the great changes of the Communist Party of China in the past hundred years, tearfully feeling that the Communist Party was good and socialism was good, thanking the Party Central Committee for its concern, and encouraging the majority of party members not to forget their original intentions and continue to struggle.
