South Korean artist Kang Ji-hyun was sentenced by the Seoul Central District Court on the 24th to compensate the production company of "The Survival of North Korea" for 5.34 billion won.

Jiang Zhiyan was arrested in 2019 for sexual assault and molestation of two female staff of an outsourcing company while filming "North Korea Survival", resulting in the production company of "North Korea Survival" having to temporarily find Xu Jixi to take over the remaining eight episodes of Kang Zhiyan. The production company of "Survival of Korea" subsequently filed a claim of 6.38 billion won against Kang Ji-wan for personal reasons that affected the filming of the TV series.

The Seoul Central District Court made a first-instance judgment on the case on the 23rd, ruling that Jiang Zhiyan needed to pay 5.34 billion won in compensation, of which 610 million won Jiang Zhiyan could ask the brokerage company at the time of the case to bear, according to the judgment, Jiang Zhiyi himself had to bear at least 4.73 billion won in compensation, and if the original brokerage company refused to bear compensation, Jiang Zhiyan himself needed to bear all the compensation.
