After the captain had survived the second night, when the early morning glow pierced the darkness that shrouded the sea level, the surviving crew members saw the ships that had been hit by torpedoes and were half-sunk on the surface of the sea with billowing fireworks, and their sense of mourning churned in their hearts.
Later, when the enemy submarine launched a frontal attack in front of the eyes, in order to save the depth bomb, it could only attack with the ship's guns, and as a result, the stern of the ship was hit by an enemy bomb, killing 3 crew members, one of whom was the cook who had delivered food to the captain, who gave his life while helping to transport the explosives. They held a sea burial for the three crew members who died, and after firing their guns, all the members sang the national anthem in unison, and morale gradually increased. In the dark moments of waiting for air rescue, the enemy's submarines are like sharks in the sea, smelling blood and chasing after their prey and refusing to let go easily. When the soldiers on the escorted ships were seen cheering loudly for the fleet, they were alive and well, surviving under the protection of the destroyer. However, what awaits them is a battlefield with real guns and a uncertain future. War can destroy a person's will, but also sharpen a person's heart. According to the end of the movie, during World War II, more than 3,500 cargo ships on the Atlantic Ocean carried millions of tons of cargo sank to the bottom of the sea, and 72,200 people died forever, a tragic number!
I've seen quite a few war movies and am curious that even though so many films have been produced, they don't evoke the basic conscience of evil.
