From a professional dancer to a behind-the-scenes director, Zhang Shanshan has been in the industry for more than 20 years, has experienced national large-scale events including CCTV Spring Festival Gala, and has rich experience in stage guidance. "In the preparatory work for the national games, we have come up with a lot of filings, and then systematically planned and arranged the opening and closing ceremonies and performances, so that we can be more down-to-earth in our hearts and more confident in implementation!" Zhang Shanshan said that in the opening and closing ceremonies, every action that needs to be arranged from music, costumes, props, to the choreographer is checked layer by layer, every small link needs to be improved, each link can not be lost, and a small oversight may lead to a series of chain reactions.

"Especially the two-month preparation time for a large-scale national event like this, such a large number of rehearsals, is very tight for our rehearsal work, requiring us to come up with excellent works in a very short period of time, quality and quantity to complete the task, which poses a challenge to us." Zhang Shanshan said that in order to ensure the foolproof of every detail of the performance, it is necessary for the choreographer to maintain a sharpness at all times, observe the details of each rehearsal on the field, and then formulate a reasonable rehearsal schedule according to the rehearsal situation.

The biggest problem encountered in the rehearsal is the guidance of non-professional dancers, because most of the dancers are students, and they are all participating in large-scale activities for the first time, and some are even participating in dance performances for the first time, and it is difficult to imagine that they want to complete the movements like professional actors.

"It can be said that we have not rested since the official entry, and we have controlled the whole during rehearsals, treating each drill as if it were a formal performance. After the rehearsal, it is also necessary to hold meetings with various types of work, adjust in time according to the problems that arise, maintain a high-intensity working state every day, and play the spirit of 200 points. For example, Zhang Shanshan said that because this National Games is the first major domestic comprehensive sports event held under the normalization of epidemic prevention and control, the requirements for epidemic prevention and control are relatively high, and it is necessary to coordinate from top to bottom, and when the students arrive safely at the scene, the time left for them to rehearse is very limited.

Despite the difficulties, the rehearsal task was heavy and I started to feel very tired.
