According to the China Coal Industry Association, in September, the output of industrial raw coal above the designated size was 410 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 4.4%, and the growth rate was 1.6 percentage points faster than that in August. In the first three quarters, the output of industrial raw coal above designated size was 3.48 billion tons, a year-on-year increase of 0.6%. Imported coal was 390 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 11.9%.
At present, the supply of coal resources is relatively sufficient. From the perspective of coal consumption demand, since April this year, the growth rate of thermal power generation above designated size has fallen month by month, and there has been negative growth in May, June and July.

The level of clean coal utilization in mainland China has been comprehensively improved
Not long ago, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and other six departments jointly issued the "Opinions on Strengthening the Clean and Efficient Utilization of Coal" to accelerate the clean utilization of coal.
The China National Coal Association said that since the beginning of this year, while the mainland's coal support capacity has been continuously enhanced, the level of clean coal utilization has also been comprehensively improved.
Clean utilization of coal refers to the use of a series of technical means and management measures to minimize pollutant emissions, improve energy efficiency, and realize the sustainable use of coal resources in the mining, processing, conversion, combustion and waste treatment of coal.
Recently, the Xinjiang Coal Conveying Corridor and Coal Logistics Hub Center were officially put into operation. The project replaces automobile transportation through coal transportation corridors, which not only ensures the safety and environmental protection of coal transportation, but also releases coal mining energy and reduces the comprehensive logistics cost of coal by more than 10%.
Wang Long, project leader of Hutubi County Coal Conveying Corridor and Coal Logistics Hub Center: The project can replace the capacity of 700 coal trucks a day, alleviate the pressure of road traffic safety in mountainous areas, and improve the pollution of automobile exhaust and dust to the atmosphere.
The newly released "Opinions on Strengthening the Clean and Efficient Utilization of Coal" proposes that by 2030, the green and intelligent development capacity of coal will be significantly enhanced, the energy intensity of production will gradually decrease, the storage and transportation structure will continue to be optimized, the quality of commercial coal will be steadily improved, the efficiency and cleanliness of coal in key areas will be comprehensively improved, and the clean and efficient coal utilization system that is compatible with ecological priority, conservation and intensive, and green and low-carbon development will be basically completed.

Xiao Guojun, Technician of Production Technology Department of China Coal Xinji Lixin Power Generation Co., Ltd.: After the completion of the second phase of the project, compared with the traditional average coal consumption level for power supply, the two units can save about 217,000 tons of standard coal and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 588,000 tons per year, with significant energy saving and carbon reduction effects.
