On October 15, the First Good Neighbor Center of Dinghai Road Community and the First Rehabilitation Hospital of Yangpu District jointly held a special lecture on the theme of "Knowing, Understanding and Preventing Alzheimer's Disease". The purpose of this event is to thoroughly implement the Healthy China strategy, raise the awareness of Alzheimer's disease among the elderly in the community, and promote the physical and mental health of the elderly.
At the lecture site, the lecturer explained in detail the various symptoms, complex causes and scientific preventive measures of Alzheimer's disease with a rigorous scientific attitude, so that every elderly person present can deeply understand the possible impact of Alzheimer's disease on individuals and families. Doctors emphasize that early recognition and intervention are essential to slow the progression of the disease.
"We have a family history of Alzheimer's disease, and I have recently had some forgetfulness symptoms, and I have been worried about whether I will get sick too, so I came to listen to the doctor's advice." Aunt Li, a resident, said.
In the interactive part of the lecture, an experienced nurse walked up to the podium and led everyone to carry out a simple but effective set of finger exercises. This set of finger exercises is exquisitely designed, through the flexible movement of the fingers, it can not only exercise the fine movements of the hands, but also stimulate the brain nerves, promote blood circulation, and help prevent the occurrence of Alzheimer's disease.
