See the city in the city
In the form of an aerial corridor, it walks between the gaps of the city, leading visitors to experience the majesty and historical context of Taiwan's first stone city in an urban atmosphere, and jointly stringing together the glorious road of witnessing Kaohsiung's 300-year history. The air corridor with a total length of nearly 800 meters connects the only area with the most existing ancient city walls in Taiwan, from the east gate to the north gate, with an air height of about 4 to 6 meters, overlooking the ancient city walls and the evolving historical landscape, as if the cityscape of different eras is stacked under your feet, making people become travelers who travel through time and space.
Lighting design that coexists with the environment
The sky corridor is hidden in the surrounding canopy, and the structure humbly blends into the city skyline, and at night, the lighting is based on the principle of low light pollution, and small lamps are integrated into the railing structure to reduce the disturbance to the surrounding ecology and shape a continuous visual movement. At the crossing of the road, the lighting of the outer edge of the corridor is deliberately strengthened, leaving an imprint in the urban texture, deepening the memory point of this path in the life of citizens, and becoming a key link between Kaohsiung's culture, history and tourism development.
