The south of the Yangtze River in Tibet is the peach blossom source in many people's dreams.
This spring, I finally had the opportunity to set foot on this land and experience its charm for myself.
Looking back on it now, I still feel that the aftertaste is endless.

Nyingchi peach blossoms
Spring in Nyingchi belongs to peach blossoms.
At the end of March and the beginning of April, the peach blossoms bloom all over the mountains, decorating the banks of the Brahmaputra River into a sea of pink.
When I arrived in Nyingchi, the peach blossoms were in full bloom, and I was shocked as soon as I got off the plane.
On the way from the airport to the city, the road is lined with blooming peach blossoms, and the petals fall in the breeze, as if you are in a fairy tale.
The best place to enjoy peach blossoms in Nyingchi is Gala Peach Blossom Village.
It is surrounded by mountains and rivers, and when the peach blossoms are in full bloom, the whole village is hidden in the sea of peach blossoms, which is beautiful.
There are many homestays opened by Tibetans in the village, where you can experience authentic Tibetan life.
The hostess of the B&B where I stayed was very welcoming, and invited me to dance the pot dance in the evening, which was a taste of the hospitality of the Tibetan people.
In addition to Gala Peach Blossom Village, Suosong Village in Milin County is also a good place to enjoy peach blossoms.
Located at the entrance to the Grand Canyon of the Brahmaputra River, Suosong Village offers stunning views of both the peach blossoms and the Nanga Bhava Peak.
It should be noted that the accommodation conditions in Sosong Village are relatively simple and need to be prepared in advance.
In terms of transportation, Nyingchi Airport has direct flights to many cities in China, and the transportation is convenient.
Taxis or buses can be taken in the city, and chartered buses are also available for more convenient and flexible tours.
Brahmaputra Grand Canyon
If the peach blossom is the spring of Nyingchi, then the Brahmaputra Grand Canyon is the soul of Nyingchi.
As the deepest canyon on Earth, the Brahmaputra Grand Canyon is home to breathtaking natural landscapes.
The vegetation in the canyon is dense, the river is turbulent, and the snow-capped mountains on both sides of the river stand majestically, forming a magnificent picture.
To visit the Grand Canyon, you can take a sightseeing bus in the scenic area, or you can choose to hike.
I chose to hike part of the trail to get a closer look at the Grand Canyon.
During the hike, you can enjoy a variety of exotic plants and wild animals, and feel the magic of nature.
In the Grand Canyon Scenic Area, you can also visit the Nanga Bhava Peak Observation Deck.
Nanga Bhava Peak is the fifteenth highest peak in the world, covered with snow all year round, shrouded in clouds and mist, and is known as "the most beautiful snow-capped mountain in China".
It takes luck to see Nanga Bhava in its entirety, and I was lucky enough to see it in its entirety, and the shock of that moment is still unforgettable.
There are many restaurants in the Grand Canyon Scenic Area, where you can taste Tibetan specialties, such as butter tea, tsamba, Tibetan fragrant pig and so on.
It is advisable to book accommodation in advance, as the price of hotels in the scenic area is relatively high.
Basuntso
Basongcuo is the largest dammed lake in southeast Tibet and is known as "Tibet Jiuzhaigou".
The lake is crystal clear and surrounded by dense forests and snow-capped mountains, making the scenery picturesque.
In Basongcuo, you can take a boat trip around the lake, or you can hike along the lake and enjoy the scenery of the lake and mountains.
There is an ancient temple on the island in the middle of the lake where you can visit to pray for blessings.
I chose to stay in Basongcuo for one night and experienced the peace and tranquility of the lake.
Wake up to the sound of birdsong in the morning, open the window and see the mist rising from the lake.
Basongcuo is about a two-hour drive from downtown Nyingchi and is easily accessible.
There are hotels and B&Bs to choose from in the scenic area, and the prices are moderate.
Lu Lang Linhai
Lulang Linhai is a primeval forest located at an altitude of about 3,700 meters, where the trees are dense and the air is fresh, and it is known as the "natural oxygen bar".
In Lulang Linhai, you can walk along the forest paths, breathe in the fresh air, and feel the tranquility and peace of nature.
You can also taste the local specialty - Lulang stone pot chicken.
Stone pot chicken is stewed with local unique stone pot and Tibetan fragrant chicken, which is delicious and nutritious.
I tasted the Lulang Stone Pot Chicken, the chicken is tender, the soup is rich, and the aftertaste is endless.
In Lulang Linhai, you can also experience horseback riding, archery and other activities to feel the traditional culture of the Tibetan people.
Lulang Linhai is about three hours' drive from Nyingchi city, and the transportation is relatively convenient.

Sejila Mountain
Sejila Mountain is the watershed of the Niyang River and the Palung Zangbo River, and is one of the best viewing platforms in the Nyingchi area.
Standing on the top of the mountain, you can overlook the entire Niyang River Valley, and the scenery is spectacular.
The elevation of the pass of Sejila Mountain is 4,728 meters, and it is necessary to pay attention to altitude sickness.
The vegetation on the mountain is dense and you can enjoy a variety of alpine plants.
When I reached the summit, it was the season of rhododendrons, which decorate the slopes with colorful flowers.
Sejila Mountain is about an hour's drive from downtown Nyingchi and has convenient transportation.
There is no accommodation in the mountains, a day trip is recommended.
The trip to Nyingchi made me feel another beauty of Tibet.
There are not only snow-capped mountains, canyons, and lakes, but also peach blossoms, forests, and humanities, making it a place worth visiting again and again.
