Reminiscing about Emperor Zhan's former Royal Forest Army

author:Higher Education Observation

People are accustomed to calling LeBron James the little emperor, and many media have also called the NBA players who were once on the same team as James the Royal Foresters. Since being crowned an NBA champion in 2012, James has topped the NBA four times. So how did James's title of "Little Emperor" come about? How is Emperor Zhan's former Imperial Forest Army developing today?

James' title of Little Emperor was there before he joined the NBA in 2003. In high school, James has been hailed as the strongest high school student in the United States, Nike has signed with him, James has become famous in the American basketball world, and his high school classmates like to call him "King", that is, "King James". In 2003, James participated in the NBA draft, Nike and the media greatly exaggerated this, king James gradually became familiar with everyone and imprinted in their minds. After he entered the NBA, the title became a nickname for James.

Let's take a look at James' Royal Foresters at the Cleveland Cavaliers from 2003 to 2010.

No. 1: Assisted Jan's longest-running center, Zajunas Irgoskas

Zaidrunas Ilgoskas (born 5 June 1975 in Lithuania, Republic of the Soviet Union) is a professional basketball player, technical high school forward, affectionately known as the "Big Z", with a height of 2.21 meters and a soft feel. Ilgoskas played in the NBA for 14 years. His internal offensive means are diverse, experienced and have a strong defensive deterrent.

Big Z

In 1996, Big Z entered the NBA through the draft. In 2003, after James joined the Cavaliers, he has been assisting James. He was the player who followed James the longest during the Cavaliers period. He has a variety of offensive means to open up space for James' offense. When in average fitness, it is difficult to fight the challenge of a strong center. Coupled with multiple surgeries, these have constrained his development. In the summer of 2010, James moved to the Heat, and Big Z followed James to Miami. He insisted on finishing the 2010-2011 season with the Heat in poor physical condition, but was eventually beaten by the Mavericks this season. Interestingly, after big Z retired in 2011, the Heat beat the Thunder to win the championship in 2012. Big Z later served as assistant general manager for the Cavaliers.

Carlos Boozer (born November 20, 1981 in Aschaffenburg, Bavaria, Federal Republic of Germany (present-day western Germany) is a former American professional basketball player who plays as a power forward. He was drafted by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2002 NBA Draft, a year before James entered the NBA. After James came to the Cavaliers and played with Boozer for a year, Boozer can be said to be James's strongest teammate in the Cavaliers, but James's arrival compressed Boozer's shooting space, coupled with the problem of low salary, Boozer chose to leave the Cavaliers in 2004 to develop in the Utah Jazz. Boozer formed a new Jazz duo with Deron Williams on the Jazz and made a legend. Boozer later came to China in 2016 to develop in the CBA, playing for Guangdong Hongyuan. In 2017, Boozer announced his retirement.

Anderson Vallejo (born September 28, 1982 in Espírito Colatina, Brazil) is a Brazilian men's basketball player who plays as a big forward and center, nicknamed "Brazilian Film Emperor", and is good at creating fouls. Vallejo entered the NBA through the draft in 2004, assisting James until 2010. In the summer of 2014, after James returned to the Cavaliers, Vallejo continued to assist James. Unfortunately, in the 2004-2015 season, the Cavaliers, who have the big three and have a magnificent style, were defeated by the Warriors because of the injuries of Luck and Irving, missing the championship. What is even more peculiar is that in the 2015-2016 season, Vallejo was cut by the Cavaliers to join the Warriors, but this year, the Cavaliers reversed the Warriors' championship after falling behind 1:3. The Cavaliers also gave Vallejo a championship ring, but Vallejo refused to accept it.

Number 4: Alexander Pavlovich

Alexander Pavlovich (born 15 November 1983 in Bar, Montenegro) is a professional basketball player. In 2003, he played for the NBA Jazz. It was in the summer of 2004, but the Cavaliers' Boozer left The Jains to develop as the Jazz grew, and Pavlovic left the Jazz to assist the Cavaliers. From 2004 to 2009, Pavlovic played with James. He has since moved on to several teams and now plays for the Boston Celtics.

O'Neal is one of the few powerful centers in NBA history, nicknamed the Big Sharks. He became famous in his early years with the Orlando Magic, started with the Lakers, achieved the Lakers' three-game championship, and later helped Wade win the championship. In 2009, in order to be able to beat the Celtics and Magic in the playoffs, the Cavaliers brought in O'Neal. O'Neill became the strongest center forward on Jan's side. But due to injuries, the Playoff Cavaliers didn't buy the Celtics.

He was James' strongest point guard on the Cavaliers. After James left the Cavaliers in 2010, Williams also moved to the Clippers, Jazz, Trail Blazers, and Hornets. Fortunately, after James returned to the Cavaliers in the summer of 2014, Maurice Williams returned to the Cavaliers in the 2015-2016 season, winning the NBA championship with James.

This year's James has been "crowned" 4 times to win the NBA championship, but we can't forget the Royal Foresters who fought with James!
