Yuncheng Daily News (Reporter Niu Jiarong) On October 9, AMD's × Yongle Palace Mural AI Restoration Achievement Exhibition was launched in Yongle Palace, showing the protection and restoration results of the murals of the Sanqing Palace. Wang Zhifeng, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Minister of the Propaganda Department, attended and unveiled.
This achievement exhibition exhibited the phased results of AI restoration of Yongle Palace's "Chaoyuan Map" - the mural on the east wall of Sanqing Palace, unveiling the mystery of the 800-year-old mural of Yongle Palace. The exhibition digitally recreates the historical relics, opens up a new perspective of analysis and appreciation of the murals of Yongle Palace, and makes the non-renewable and immovable cultural heritage "live".
The restoration project leverages AMD's end-to-end AI solution, supported by AMD hardware, coupled with Biodata's own large-scale model and advanced generative AI technology, to achieve a "digital rebirth" of the mural, which is unveiled to the public for the first time. At that time, the results of this phase will be exhibited at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, telling China's story to the world.

In the future, after the completion of the innovative AI restoration and conservation project of the murals of Yongle Palace, the complete murals of "Chaoyuan Tu" will be presented to the public with a new attitude with the help of AI algorithms, digital interaction and other technical means. The city will also continue to use digital technology to empower the protection and utilization of cultural relics and the protection and inheritance of cultural heritage, so that traditional culture will radiate new vitality in the new era.
