In Xianyang, the "Mengtao Spirit" that has inspired several generations has been inherited, and Zhao Mengtao's skillful labor posture 61 years ago is still fixed in people's hearts.
Zhao Mengtao was born in 1935, which was an era of frequent wars and banditry. There are four brothers and sisters in her family, the eldest brother was captured and tortured to death by the Japan invaders, the younger sister was killed in the flight, and the second brother was an apprentice at the Caijiapo Northwest Machinery Factory. When she was 10 years old, after her father died, she followed her mother to Caijiapo, Baoji, Shaanxi, and joined her second brother who was an apprentice in the Northwest Machinery Factory.
In November 1951, Xianyang prepared to build a Northwest National Cotton Factory in Caijiapo to recruit training workers, 16-year-old Zhao Mengtao voluntarily signed up, after the examination became one of the apprentices, in May 1952, the Northwest National Cotton Factory officially started production, Zhao Mengtao became a textile worker in the factory.
A child from a poor mountainous area became a working class, and Zhao Mengtao was very happy in her heart. In the workshop, 10,000 ingots are flying, silver threads are flowing, and the female workers are skillfully operating the textile machinery, which makes her envious, and the most envious thing is the red waist of the "Hao Jianxiu worker" around the waist of the master. In order to master the technique as soon as possible, Zhao Mengtao seized all the effective time, studied hard, and practiced the technique hard. Finally in May 1952, Zhao Mengtao wore the long-awaited "Hao Jianxiu Worker" red bib with excellent results.
In 1952, Zhao Mengtao was elected as the first trade union leader of the fourth group of spinning class B. She was the first to respond to the call of the factory party committee to "expand the platform and expand the ingots", expanding from 200 spindles in the stands to 600 spindles in the stands, and the production efficiency was increased by 3 times. She explored and innovated the patrol cleaning inspection operation method, which reduced the broken end by two-thirds, and reduced the coarse details of the bad yarn by 70% compared with the past, which played a decisive role in improving the drying uniformity of cotton yarn slivers and the quality of cotton cloth, and was comprehensively promoted in Shaanxi Province. For 7 consecutive years, she has set an advanced record of fully completing the production plan every month.
Under the influence and drive of Zhao Mengtao, "everyone should be advanced, and everyone should compete for model workers" has become a trend. She devoted her life to the textile industry. Due to her outstanding performance and outstanding contributions, Zhao Mengtao has been rated as an advanced producer at all levels for 42 consecutive times, has been awarded the title of national model worker twice, won the title of national 38 red flag bearer, and attended the 8th National Congress of the Communist Party of China with honor.
In April 1963, the Shaanxi Provincial People's Committee named the fourth group of Class B of the spinning workshop where Zhao Mengtao worked as "Zhao Mengtao Group". Unfortunately, in June of the same year, this spinning woman who dedicated her youth to the textile industry died of lung cancer at the age of 28.
The people of the past are gone, but the spirit lives on! Today's "Zhao Mengtao Group" still inherits and carries forward Zhao Mengtao's spirit and career. "High standards, strict requirements, fast action, practical work, grasping difficulties, sending convenience, and not leaving a partner behind" has become the spiritual benchmark for this team to stand forever, inspiring the members of the Mengtao group to become the most beautiful strugglers in the new era from generation to generation.

Time flies, this year is the 61st anniversary of the naming of Zhao Mengtao's group, the leader of Zhao Mengtao's group has changed more than a dozen, and the team members have changed one after another, but the spirit of Mengtao still inspires generations of textile workers to work hard.

Wang Dan, the fourteenth leader of Zhao Mengtao's group, wearing a small white hat and blue uniform, shuttled between machines. I saw her skillfully operating the equipment, splicing, changing roving, doffing...... A series of tasks are done with the flick of your fingers.
"Three hundred and sixty lines, the line is the champion, you want to be a Zhao Mengtao-style textile worker and make a name." Wang Dan told reporters that in 2011, she was admitted to the Northwest National Cotton Factory with longing and joy, from the first day of entering the factory, she was determined to become a model like Zhao Mengtao, with practical actions to influence and drive the people around her, she was very happy to learn that she was assigned to the fourth group of class B of the spinning workshop.
Every day after joining the company, Wang Dan will use his spare time to learn knowledge, practice skills, and figure it out while practicing. Through continuous efforts, Wang Dan, who entered the factory for half a year, won the first place in the new work competition in the "Dream Peach Cup" technical competition, and became the youngest operator in the spinning process.

Wang Dan firmly believes that as long as he sticks to and works hard, he can make extraordinary achievements in ordinary positions. According to the operation method of Qingze ZR71 automatic intelligent spinning frame, she explored a set of short-time, accurate splicing and roving change methods, which shortened the splicing time by 20 seconds compared with the standard time, and shortened the roving change time by 35 seconds compared with the standard time.
After optimizing the operation technology, Wang Dan put his mind on the construction of the company's high-quality line, combined with the "high-speed and high-yield" characteristics of the new spinning frame, and solved the difficult problems such as uneven yarn thickness and floating head breakage in production by reducing the length of the roving with the head from 3 cm to 2 cm.
"Taking over this baton, I want to play an exemplary and leading role like the previous team leaders, leading more sisters to learn from the dream peach, dream peach, and strive to be the seed of the most beautiful fighter in the new era, and make extraordinary achievements in ordinary positions." Li Hangpei, a member of Zhao Mengtao's team, mentioned the scene when he first entered the factory, which is still unforgettable. "When I first entered the factory, I learned to give spinning yarn 'joints', and I could only pick one in the morning, and sometimes I would cut my fingers." Li Hangpei recalled that in the factory, the humid heat of about 35 degrees Celsius, the incessant roar of the machine and the flying flotsam that drilled her ears and nose made her unable to adapt, and after 8 hours a day, her back hurt badly at night, and Li Hangpei often hid in the quilt in the middle of the night and cried. When she wanted to give up, the warmth of the group's "big family" made her stay in the end.
"Dedication is the soul of the spirit of Dream Peach. At work, we help each other to not leave any sister behind, and in life, we care about each other and support each other. Li Hangpei said that the members of the group will often exchange and share operating techniques and experience, so that everyone can promote each other and grow together. When the personnel is tight, they will also take the initiative to expand the station and help the sisters complete the production tasks.
