In October 2020, Hyundai unveiled its high-performance compact hatchback steel cannon model, the i20 N, which has a unique performance-oriented exterior and interior settings, and is also equipped with a 1.6-liter turbocharged GDi petrol engine with 204 hp and 275 Nm. Paired with a six-speed manual gearbox and a weight setting of 1,190 kg, it accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in just 6.7 seconds. It also features exclusive high-performance suspension, braking, steering and exhaust settings.
Although the i20 N and i30 N models are expected to be discontinued in the European market in the future, Hyundai has recently launched the 2025-style i20 N series in Australia, including the exterior and interior settings, and the new car is expected to officially enter the Hyundai showroom in November 2024, with the new car priced from $35,500.
The 2025 Hyundai i20 N model features a new two-tone 18-inch aluminum rim set with red brake calipers. At the front, a new front bumper and matte black radiator guards are also used, while the front and rear emblems are all painted in black, further enhancing the performance of the exterior through styling and colour changes. In terms of interior equipment, the 2025 Hyundai i20 N model adds LED lighting and a black paint coat above the steering wheel, as well as Bluelink network car services and an over-the-air (OTA) update function for the infotainment system.
