Since 2021, the Baisha Procuratorate has used the functions of the "four major procuratorates" to focus on legal supervision, always adhere to the principle of the best interests of minors, and fully perform juvenile procuratorial functions in accordance with the law. In the past four years, a total of 55 cases of crimes against minors involving 66 persons have been handled, and 45 cases of 55 persons have been prosecuted, with a prosecution rate of 81 per cent. The arrest of 26 juveniles involved in the case was not approved, with a non-arrest rate of 60.5%. Handled 3 civil support prosecution cases involving minors and 22 public interest litigation cases. 77 juveniles involved in the case were not prosecuted in accordance with the law, of which 1 was absolutely not prosecuted in accordance with the law, and 11 were withdrawn by the supervised public security organs. 38 juveniles involved in crimes were conditionally not prosecuted, and 41 were relatively not prosecuted. Sixteen guardianship orders were issued to the guardians of minor victims. Of the 116 juveniles involved in the crime, none of them committed new criminal activities during the proceedings. Among them, 10 people were admitted to colleges and universities or re-enrolled, and 20 people were successfully employed.
In 2021, the hospital was rated as a "National Advanced Collective for Safeguarding the Rights and Interests of Women and Children"; In 2023, a judicial aid case handled by the court, Chen, was rated as one of the first batch of top ten outstanding cases in Hainan Province to protect the rights and interests of women and children. In addition, a case of infringement against minors that the court intervened in advance was rated as a typical case of "protecting seedlings" by the provincial procuratorate.
