From Monday to Friday, the tail numbers of the restricted motor vehicle number plates are 3 and 8, 4 and 9, 5 and 0, 1 and 6, 2 and 7 respectively;

Notice of traffic management measures for motor vehicle restrictions
In order to effectively alleviate road traffic congestion, reduce energy consumption and improve air quality, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Safety Law of the People's Republic of China and with the approval of the municipal people's government, the city continues to implement traffic management measures for motor vehicle restrictions. The notice is as follows:
1. From April 1, 2024, on working days (except Saturdays and Sundays adjusted to work due to statutory holidays), from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. every day, it is forbidden to use motor vehicles with foreign license plates (except for small and micro passenger vehicles with Beijing license plates) and motor vehicles registered with the regional indicators of small passenger cars to pass on the roads within the outer ring road (exclusive).
Small and micro passenger vehicles with foreign port license plates (except Beijing license plates) and small and micro passenger vehicles with local license plates registered with the regional indicators of small passenger cars can apply for relevant pass certificates through the WeChat mini-program of "Reservation Pass Voucher for Passenger Car Peak Hours" or the Tianjin Public Security and People's Livelihood Service Platform, and are allowed to enter the roads within the outer ring road (exclusive) during the above period.
2. From April 1, 2024 to March 30, 2025, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day on working days (except Saturdays and Sundays adjusted to work due to statutory holidays), the city and other cities will continue to implement traffic management measures according to the end number of the license plate on the roads within the outer ring road (exclusive).
3. According to the provisions of Article 2 above, the tail number of motor vehicle number plates (including temporary license plates) restricted in the area of working days (except Saturdays and Sundays when adjusted to work due to statutory holidays) is divided into 5 groups, and the restricted days are rotated regularly, namely:
(1) From April 1, 2024 to June 30, 2024, from Monday to Friday, the tail number of the motor vehicle number plate (the end number of the motor vehicle license plate is managed according to the number 0 if the tail number of the motor vehicle license plate is an English letter, the same below) is 5 and 0, 1 and 6, 2 and 7, 3 and 8, 4 and 9 respectively;
(2) From July 1, 2024 to September 29, 2024, the tail numbers of the restricted motor vehicle number plates from Monday to Friday are 4 and 9, 5 and 0, 1 and 6, 2 and 7, 3 and 8 respectively;
(3) From September 30, 2024 to December 29, 2024, the tail numbers of the restricted motor vehicle number plates from Monday to Friday are 3 and 8, 4 and 9, 5 and 0, 1 and 6, 2 and 7 respectively;
(4) From December 30, 2024 to March 30, 2025, the tail numbers of the restricted motor vehicle number plates from Monday to Friday are 2 and 7, 3 and 8, 4 and 9, 5 and 0, 1 and 6 respectively.
4. The following motor vehicles are exempt from the above measures:
(1) Police cars, fire trucks, ambulances, and engineering rescue vehicles 4 types of special vehicles;
(2) Large and medium-sized passenger cars (including buses, shuttles, long-distance buses, etc.), taxis (excluding rental vehicles), and special postal vehicles (with a pass issued by the public security traffic management department);
(3) Motor vehicles of embassies, consulates and international organizations in China (vehicles with "embassy" plates);
(D) sanitation, garden, road maintenance vehicles;
(5) Funeral vehicles of funeral homes;
(6) New energy vehicles (subject to vehicle registration information).
5. The road traffic management of trucks shall continue to be implemented in accordance with the relevant provisions of the city's truck-carrying restrictions. The city's license plate issued by the pure electric light, micro van trucks and pure electric light, micro enclosed trucks, holding the city's public security traffic management department issued a special pass code, not subject to the outer ring road (excluding) within the road 7 o'clock to 22 o'clock every day cargo vehicle area restrictions, but shall not be in the city (except the outer ring road) with trucks prohibited traffic signs to pass on the road section.
The special pass code is fully distributed by the public security traffic management department, and the public can apply for it through the traffic management 12123 mobile app or the traffic safety comprehensive service management platform, and carry it with the vehicle for inspection.
6. In order to facilitate the travel of the disabled, the public security traffic management department will continue to issue special passes to drivers who hold automatic transmission quasi-driving types and have lower limb disabilities.
