It is understood that the abbot is accused of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old underage girl, and the victim is suspected of being assaulted by him as many as 10 times in the monastery. As for this case, it was learned that some pimps arranged for the victim girl to provide sexual services, and caused her to be assaulted by nearly 10 people in various places and times. Police said seven of the suspects had turned themselves in, two others were preparing to turn themselves in, and the pimps were still under further investigation.
According to sources, although the abbot was involved in the sexual assault case, he is still presumed innocent and is likely to be released on bail before the court has made a final decision. At the same time, after learning the news, many people in the vicinity came to express their support for the abbot, believing that he might have been framed.
