Recently, the 2024 Whole Life Cycle Energy-saving and Low-carbon Typical Project Observation and Exchange Meeting of China Construction Enterprise Association was successfully held in Shanghai, and the observation activities were carried out in the scientific research laboratory building project of Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Laboratory of China Construction Eighth Bureau General Contracting Company. More than 300 people, including Wang Feng, Deputy Secretary-General of China Construction Enterprise Management Association, Kang Chunjiang, Vice President and Secretary-General of Shanghai Construction Industry Association, Liu Wenqiang, Deputy General Manager of Science and Technology Quality Department of China Construction Eighth Bureau, Chen Hua, Chief Engineer of General Contracting Company, and relevant leaders, industry experts, and enterprise representatives participated in the observation and exchange activities.
With the theme of "Stimulating New Quality Productivity and Practicing Digital Intelligence and Low-carbon Construction", the project members of the Scientific Research Laboratory of Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Laboratory shared the innovative practical applications in the field of green and low-carbon in the process of project construction, and showed the cases of architectural design optimization, application of environmental protection materials, and energy efficiency improvement with detailed data, which effectively reduced carbon emissions and promoted the development of the construction industry in a greener and sustainable direction.
In the low-carbon exhibition area, the project showcased various measures for energy conservation and carbon reduction in the project, through the application of the "Green Carbon Ark", 35 green construction technologies and a number of innovative technologies were adopted, and energy-saving and low-carbon equipment such as carbon energy boxes, photovoltaic standard maintenance rooms, green energy storage boxes, and carbon capture devices developed by the Eighth Bureau were used to achieve the goal of "five sections and one environmental protection".
In the intelligent construction exhibition area, the project demonstrated the integration of digitalization, intelligent transformation and green construction technology, built a smart construction site integration platform, and used a BIM collaborative management platform to realize the digitization of management workflow. The project has successfully applied various construction robots such as lofting robots, steel bar binding robots, welding robots, inspection robots, leveling robots, spraying robots, etc., to reduce labor costs, and improve management efficiency by using drone inspections, intelligent tower cranes, unmanned weighbridges, etc. The observation area is equipped with an exhibition area of safety control measures and a builder's home, which ensures the safety of the construction site through the introduction of intelligent monitoring system and strengthening safety education. The project pays attention to the occupational health and quality of life of construction workers, provides a warm and comfortable rest environment and health protection measures for workers, and reflects the harmony and unity of humanistic care and green development.
This observation activity is not only a collision of technology and concept, but also an in-depth exploration and prospect of the future development direction of architecture, the Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Laboratory Scientific Research Laboratory Project will further summarize the advanced experience of green construction, play a leading role in demonstration projects, and help promote the high-quality development of the industry.
