Australia's Channel 9 News reported on September 15 that in the local government election held on Saturday, Sydney Mayor Clover Moore made history and successfully started his sixth term.
Moore has been the Lord Mayor of Sydney since 2004.
Last night, Moore thanked his supporters and team at the winning party at the ArtHouse Hotel.
Moore also posted on social media: "Thank you to the people of Sydney, thank you for your support. I am honoured to continue to serve as Mayor and ensure that Sydney is a great place to work and live. ”

The Sydney Morning Herald reported that the 78-year-old Moore won the election against nine rivals and received 37 per cent of the first-choice vote. Moore said he had been attacked by other candidates.
"They didn't really talk about their ideas or policies, they just attacked me, and it was a very strange election."
Moore also said he will focus on Chinatown, Oxford St, affordable housing and climate change in his sixth term.

The NSW Election Commission will say the counting of votes was suspended at 10pm last night and will resume next Monday.
Acting NSW Elections Commissioner Matthew Phillips said: "The EC staff have had a long day and they deserve a good day before the vote count resumes on Monday. ”
A total of 5 million voters in NSW went to the polls to cast their ballots this Saturday. In addition, 1.3 million people voted early.
