In order to thoroughly implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's series of important speeches on cybersecurity, further popularize cybersecurity knowledge, improve cybersecurity awareness and protection skills, protect the legitimate rights and interests of the masses in cyberspace, and create a safe, healthy and civilized cyber environment and a strong atmosphere for the whole society to jointly build a cyber security defense line. On September 9, the launching ceremony of the 2024 Aba Prefecture National Cyber Security Publicity Week, jointly organized by more than 10 units including the Propaganda Department of the State Party Committee, the Cyberspace Administration of the State Party Committee, and the State Economic and Information Bureau, was held in Malkang.
With the theme of "Cyber Security for the People, Cyber Security by the People", this year's publicity week involves major industries such as finance, telecommunications, e-government, e-commerce, etc., as well as a number of theme day publicity activities, aiming to enhance the public's awareness of cyber security, create a healthy and civilized cyber environment, and jointly maintain national cyber security. It is understood that on the same day, all counties (cities) in Aba Prefecture carried out the National Cyber Security Publicity Week.
During the publicity activities, the staff guided the public to have a more intuitive understanding of network security knowledge, build a strong network security embankment, enhance their awareness of prevention, and protect the security of personal information by explaining network security laws and regulations, distributing leaflets and network security knowledge brochures, and putting up posters.
According to reports, the network security publicity week activities are a total of 7 days, and will carry out campus day, telecommunications day, rule of law day, financial day, youth day, personal information protection day and other theme activities, aiming to further help residents enhance their awareness of network risk prevention and comprehensively create a strong atmosphere for the whole society to build a network security defense line.
In the afternoon of the same day, the Cyberspace Administration of the State Party Committee and the State Emergency Support Center, together with the Propaganda Department of the Malkang Municipal Party Committee, organized and carried out network security publicity and education into communities, nursing homes, and campuses, etc., to publicize network security knowledge in a form that is easy for the masses to understand and enjoy.
