Yin Zuo'an: I painted an ink portrait of Wang Zhong, the prototype of the detective in "Blue Shield Safe".

In the autumn of 2009, Huang Chen of the Nanjing Municipal Public Security Bureau visited and introduced the legend of his master, criminal investigator Wang Zhong.

Wang Zhong, a criminal investigation expert in the Nanjing police circle, from the founding of the People's Republic of China to the 80s of the last century, repeatedly solved strange cases and was named "Detective", which shocked the whole country. The deeds based on his leading criminal police team were made into the movie "Blue Shield Safe".

Wang Zhong died of illness in Nanjing on August 3, 2008, at the age of 88.

Huang Chen misses his master, he treasures a black and white old photo of Wang Zhong, let me see the image of the criminal investigation hero, although I have never met, but I admire in my heart, and immediately said that he painted an ink portrait for Wang Zhong and presented it to Huang Chen for collection, Huang Chen's gratitude is indescribable.

When I painted the ink portrait of criminal investigator Wang Zhong, it was not entirely an attempt at an artistic expression that I had never had before, but out of an inner impulse, and it was Wang Zhong's experience, will, and superhuman wisdom that infected me.

Yin Zuo'an: I painted an ink portrait of Wang Zhong, the prototype of the detective in "Blue Shield Safe".

I inscribed in the painting:

Criminal investigator Wang Zhong's ink painting captures the soul

It seems to be like asking Wang Chen for advice

After all, freehand ink portraits are different from simulated portrait paintings.

The predecessor Wang Zhong is lifelike, and the loyal soul is always there. This is one of the ink portraits that I am more satisfied with.

In order to reciprocate, Huang Chen specially invited Chen Yuanyuan, a seal carver of Nanjing Seal Society, to govern a party for me, and the seal originally wanted to use "ink life", but I changed the two words by my suggestion, and finally set it as "ink and wash as life". This seal shows my artistic life and pursuit of ink painting, which I treasure and use from time to time on my proud works.

Huang Chen has good intentions, true friends are heart-to-heart, great tacit understanding, great freedom, and they are all happy.
