Bi Yanying, deputy to the Municipal People's Congress and vice president of the School of International Relations, Yang Fengxia, Liang Yanling, and Zheng Linxia, deputies to the District People's Congress, Zou Xiquan, a member of the District Political Consultative Conference, and staff from the Landscaping Bureau and the Township Judicial Office were invited to observe the trial.

The public prosecution alleged that the defendant Li Moumou illegally hunted 1 Chinese impala in a village in Huaibei Town, Huairou District. After identification, the impala involved in the case is a national second-class key protected wild animal, with an overall value of 50,000 yuan. During this period, defendant Li XX illegally hunted 3 wild rock squirrels, 1 wild roe deer, and 1 wild civet cat on his own contracted land and an orchard in a village in Huaibei Town, Huairou District. After identification, the species involved in the case were all wild animals protected by the national "three haves", with a total value of 4,650 yuan.

In view of the fact that defendant Li XX truthfully confessed the facts of the crime after arriving at the case, he voluntarily pleaded guilty and accepted punishment. Based on the facts, nature, and circumstances of defendant Li's crime, as well as the degree of harm to society, he was sentenced to one year imprisonment, suspended for one year, and fined 5,000 yuan for the crimes of endangering precious and endangered wildlife and illegal hunting; compensation of RMB 54,650 for the loss of wildlife resources; The media at or above the municipal level publicly apologize to the public. After the verdict was announced, defendant Li XX indicated that he would not appeal. The case has not yet entered into force.
