Niconico Animation suspended its service due to a cyber attack on June 8, and launched the "Re:仮" animation (Re:仮) the next day (19th) to provide users with basic features such as some works and comments.
Niconico Animation said that at that time, Niconico animation and live broadcasting (webcast) services will be fully resumed, and a number of commemorative events will be launched. Niconico Animation will update the video viewing page after it resumes operation, including the addition of features such as "My List" and dark mode, and will continue to introduce different features in the future. Subscribers such as NicoNico Premium will receive a refund for the period during which the service is suspended.
