Shenzhen Longgang District Philharmonic Symphony Wind Orchestra is a large-scale symphony orchestra with professional standards. With the strong support and guidance of the Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports Bureau of Xigang District, Shenzhen, and in accordance with the requirements of professional and standardized construction, the orchestra has developed into an excellent symphony orchestra with certain competitiveness and influence. The orchestra is composed of more than 70 members, all of whom graduated from well-known music conservatories at home and abroad, of which 30% are returned to China. In recent years, more than 80 public welfare wind music concerts have been held, which are deeply loved by the majority of the city, and the orchestra has become a new force in the construction of Xigang Music City.
- Conductor Introduction -
Zheng Jiayong
Vice President of Shenzhen Xigang District Wind Band Association. He is currently the band conductor of the Conservatory of Music of the University of Hong Kong, Chinese Shenzhen. He studied under Hu Yongyan, Director of the Conducting Department and Director of the Band Management Office of the Conservatory of Music of the University of Hong Kong Chinese (Shenzhen), and Lin Daye, Music Director and Chief Conductor of the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra, Deputy Director and Associate Professor of the Composition and Conducting Department of the Shanghai Conservatory of Music.
Huang Zige
Born in 1998 in Shenzhen, Guangdong. At the age of ten, he began to learn trumpet. In 2016, he was admitted to the trumpet performance major of the Central Conservatory of Music with the first place, under the tutelage of Dai Zhonghui, the doctoral supervisor of the Central Conservatory of Music, and in 2020, he was admitted to the graduate school again with the first place, and is now studying in the second year of the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music in United States the second year of the doctoral student, with conductor Peng Yikai minoring in conducting.
