With the development of social economy, environmental protection has become more and more a topic of concern to people, economic development should fully consider the ability of the environment to bear, everyone should contribute to environmental protection, and as the tide of the times college students should pay more attention to the development of the country, consciously assume the responsibility of environmental protection. To this end, Mou Xiangning, assistant village director of the College of Resources and Environment, and Jiang Haichen led a volunteer teaching team to Jiadao Village on November 15, 2020 to conduct a questionnaire survey on the current situation of villagers' environmental awareness. After the volunteer teaching team came to Jiadao Village, they carefully checked the questionnaire to understand the main content of the questionnaire and the purpose of the survey. The main task was to investigate the environmental protection awareness of the villagers in Jiadao Village, distribute questionnaires to the villagers, and analyze, summarize and sort out the collected survey information. In order to better achieve the purpose of the survey, the team members set up "What time is World Environment Day", "Do you choose which one to use in restaurants that provide disposable chopsticks and disinfectant chopsticks", "Will you turn off the lights and fans?" Environmental issues related to daily life, such as "Whether you will bring your own eco-friendly bags when shopping", and "Whether you will sort garbage". After the start of the task, all the members were divided into four groups, and the villagers in the first, second, third and fifth groups of Jiadao Village were surveyed, with two people in each group, one person responsible for distributing the questionnaire, one person responsible for collecting and recording, and striving to complete it efficiently while ensuring the quality of the work. After two hours of work with everyone in unison, the mission was completed. During the interview and investigation, the villagers were also very cooperative to express their views to the volunteers. The survey results show that at present, rural residents have basically realized the importance of environmental protection issues, and have the subjective motivation to participate in environmental protection practices, and some villagers can objectively understand the relationship between environmental protection and economic development. However, the overall awareness of environmental protection of rural residents is not strong enough, for example, most people in restaurants that provide disposable chopsticks and disinfectant chopsticks will still choose to use disposable chopsticks. In this survey, volunteers experienced that with the development of society, people's living standards have gradually improved, and people not only care about their own food and clothing. You also need to pay more attention to the surrounding environment that is closely related to yourself. Raise awareness of environmental protection and make life better and healthier. This is not just a reflection on the mind, but to take action, starting from the environment around you.
