Recently, the Criminal Investigation Brigade of the Urban District Bureau of the Shihezi City Public Security Bureau of the Eighth Division of the Corps cracked a telecommunications network fraud case and arrested a college student.

Wang then learned that his work content was very simple, and he could "go to work" with only two mobile phones. One mobile phone maintains a QQ voice call with the customer service, and the other mobile phone dials the mobile phone number provided by the customer service, and in the process, he only needs to turn on the speaker to let the two sides talk.

"70 yuan for an hour, and the 'salary' will rise after an hour." On July 13, Wang made the first call. "Refund", "investment" and "financial management", listening to the conversation between the two sides on the phone, Wang quickly realized that something was wrong, could this be a fraud?

Afterwards, Wang sent a message to ask the "customer service" whether he was engaged in fraudulent activities. The "customer service" did not answer this question, but only told him that he had worked for an hour and that the next call would be a "salary increase". Soon Wang dialed a second call, but this call also gave his question an answer.

According to Wang's confession, on July 14, after dialing the second call, the "customer service" changed another identity and talked to the other party on the grounds of ticket refund and change.

"Although I knew it was a scam, there were no consequences for making two phone calls, and no police came to me, and the other party was willing to continue to 'raise my salary', so I made a third call." On July 18, driven by interests, Wang, knowing that he had become a "tool man" of fraudsters, dialed the phone number of Mr. Li, a resident of Shihezi District, and this call defrauded Mr. Li of 380,000 yuan.

On July 24, Mr. Li realized that he had been deceived into calling the police. After receiving the police, the police quickly locked Wang according to the phone number and arrested him on July 25.

After investigation, from July 13th to 18th, Wang used a mobile phone to connect with fraudsters through QQ voice and video calls at his home, and used another mobile phone to call the unspecified victim phone provided by the fraudsters, and at the same time turned on the speaker to achieve voice relay, assisting the fraud gang to make fraudulent calls, and helping fraudsters to carry out two types of telecommunications network fraud crimes of "course refund" and "air ticket refund and change", and obtain benefits from them. At present, the case is under further investigation.

"I hurt me by coveting petty profits, and now I regret it." The profit is only more than 300 yuan, if Wang is given another chance to choose, he will definitely not do this, "easy" and fast part-time work.

The police reminded that during the summer vacation, students who want to find part-time jobs or who have just graduated and are eager to find a job must be vigilant, carefully distinguish, do not believe in the so-called "high-salary" part-time jobs on the Internet, let alone easily provide personal identity information, and do not rent, sell, or lend their phone cards, bank cards, social network accounts, mobile phones, etc., otherwise they may become "accomplices" of wire fraud criminals.
