■ Wu Peipei

Marxism and China is a work that deeply analyzes the development of Marxist theory in China. The book not only reveals to us how Marxism took root in the ancient land of China, but also shows how Marxism can be integrated with China's reality, constantly opening up a new realm of Marxism, and realizing a new leap of Marxism in China.

In the vast river of history, Marxism, with its unique perspective and profound insight, has profoundly revealed the law governing the development of human society. When this torrent of the most advanced human ideas poured into the ancient land of China, which has a long history of 5,000 years of civilization, it coupled with the profound excellent traditional Chinese culture and China's social reality on this land, and gradually formed a Chinese Marxism. Marxism has achieved the first leap in the sinicization of Marxism in the Chinese revolution, the second leap in the period of reform and opening up, and even the latest achievement in the new era - Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, demonstrating the strong vitality of Marxism in China. In this book, the author shows us the glorious course of integrating Marxism with China's reality with profound brushstrokes and unique insights. By reading this book, we can see more clearly how Marxism took root and blossomed in China, as well as the far-reaching impact that Marxism has had on China's revolution, construction, and reform.

As far as the basic theory of Marxism is concerned, Marxism was born in Europe and is a doctrine on the emancipation of mankind that guides the cause of the emancipation of the proletariat. Since the founding of the People's Republic of China, Marxism, as China's mainstream ideology, has guided China to continuously make new achievements. In the context of Marxism making new leaps in China, the author chooses the theme of "Marxism and China" for research, which has important theoretical and practical significance. Marxism is not only a doctrine, but also a practical movement, which has guided the socialist revolution, construction, and reform to a new level. Marxism was born along with the emergence and development of capitalism and to meet the needs of the proletariat's struggle for emancipation. At the same time, Marxism, like other academic institutions, was formed on the basis of inheriting the academic achievements of its predecessors.

Judging from the early spread of Marxism in China, the early spread of Marxism in China was not accidental, but it came slowly in a specific historical period, under China's special social background, and at the same time was inspired and inspired by the victory of the October Revolution, and was able to gradually spread and spread in China. The subjective reason for the spread of Marxism in China comes from the Chinese proletariat's adaptation to the requirements of the times of the world revolutionary situation and the social needs of modern China for salvation and survival, and the objective reason comes from the scientific nature of Marxism and the influence of the victory of the October Revolution in Russia. From the initial translation and introduction of Marxism in China, the widespread spread after the October Revolution to the birth of the Communist Party of China, Marxism has gone through a gradual process from introduction, dissemination to acceptance. The early spread of Marxism in China directly contributed to the birth of the Communist Party of China and opened the historical process of Sinicization of Marxism.

From the perspective of the brief development process and theoretical achievements of the Sinicization of Marxism, the early spread of Marxism in China promoted the process of the Sinicization of Marxism and produced two major theoretical achievements. With the widespread spread of Marxism in China, advanced intellectuals and communists have begun the process of exploring and further promoting the Sinicization of Marxism in the face of China's practical problems. This process has gone through the early period of the founding of the People's Republic of China, the period of socialist construction after the founding of the People's Republic of China, and the new period of reform and opening up. As everyone knows, there have been three historical leaps in integrating Marxism-Leninism with China's reality, and three major theoretical achievements have been produced. The theoretical achievement of the first leap forward was Mao Zedong Thought, which guided China's revolution and construction. The theoretical achievement of the second leap is the theoretical system of socialism with Chinese characteristics marked by Deng Xiaoping Theory. From the perspective of theoretical exploration, the third leap is Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, which has been gradually formed since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and is contemporary Chinese Marxism and Marxism in the 21st century.

In addition, judging from the prediction of the future development of the Sinicization of Marxism, the future development of Marxism in China is bright. In the process of the mainland's future development, it is still inseparable from the guidance of the latest theoretical achievements in the Sinicization of Marxism. First of all, it is necessary to promote the further Sinicization of Marxism. China is a socialist country guided by Marxism, so the future Chinese society will not be able to do without the guidance of Marxism. On the one hand, from the perspective of the more complex and new problems that China will face in the future, in order to solve these new problems, it is necessary to further Sinicize Marxism. On the other hand, judging from the theoretical character of Marxism in keeping pace with the times, in order for Marxism to develop with the times and rejuvenate its vitality, it is necessary to produce a new Sinicized Marxism in China. Second, Sinicized Marxism should be further developed. Sinicized Marxism is the application of the basic tenets of Marxism in China, Sinicized Marxism is Marxism with distinctive Chinese characteristics, reflecting the culture and outstanding achievements of the Chinese nation, and Sinicized Marxism is the crystallization of the collective wisdom of the Chinese Communists. Finally, the development trend of Sinicized Marxism is bright. Sinicization of Marxism is the theoretical crystallization of the Sinicization of Marxism. On the one hand, the further development of Sinicized Marxism requires persisting in scientific innovation, and on the other hand, the further development of Sinicized Marxism requires integrating Marxism with new realities.

Today, China is promoting the innovation and development of Marxism with a more open and confident attitude. We have witnessed the proposal and practice of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, which is the latest contribution to Marxist theory and the latest guidance for the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics. This theory not only inherits the basic tenets of Marxism, but is also closely integrated with China's reality, providing a scientific method for solving the major problems facing China in the new era. Looking back on the past, we are proud of the great achievements of Marxism in China. Looking forward to the future, we are full of expectations for the new development and practice of Marxism in China. At the new historical starting point, we firmly believe that as long as we unswervingly uphold and develop Marxism, the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics will surely achieve more brilliant achievements and make greater contributions to the progress of human society.
