According to BMW's official disclosure, the new generation M5 Touring will make its public debut on Pebble Beach on August 15, and is scheduled to go on sale in the first quarter of 2025. At the same time, the new model is expected to be imported and sold in the domestic market next year, and will compete with the Audi RS 6 and Mercedes-AMG E 63 as a segment model.
As can be seen from the teaser images and spy photos of the new car, BMW's new-generation M5 Touring touring model is expected to have a large blackened kidney grille on the head, and the interior is designed with a banner shape and an exclusive badge for M series models. At the rear, there is a double-sided exhaust layout with a large spoiler above the tailgate.
In terms of power, BMW's all-new M5 Touring Touring will be equipped with a 4.4T V8 plug-in hybrid engine with a combined maximum power of 535kW and a peak torque of 1,000Nm·m. The new car will also be equipped with a 14.8 kWh battery pack with an all-electric range of up to 40 km. In addition, the new car will be equipped with M-Series adaptive suspension, M-Series 20-inch and 21-inch alloy wheels, high-performance brake calipers and an active steering system that can rotate the rear wheels by up to 1.5°.
