It is understood that the total investment of the project is 82.22 million yuan, the starting point is located at the national highway Raogai line station K1729 + 839, and the end point is located at the national highway Raogai line station K1733 + 073, with a total length of 1.85 kilometers, of which the tunnel is 0.92 kilometers long, and the tunnel building boundary is 5 meters high and 10.5 meters wide; The length of the lead line is 0.93 kilometers, the width of the lead line base is 10 meters, and the road surface is 8.5 meters. The whole line is constructed according to the standard of secondary highways, with a design speed of 60 kilometers per hour.
According to reports, the main body of the tunnel is invested by the Liaoning Provincial Department of Transportation, the land acquisition and relocation is supported by the local government, the construction unit is Xiuyan Transportation Affairs Center, and the construction unit is undertaken by Haiwei Engineering Construction Co., Ltd. of CCCC First Public Bureau. The project started construction on September 21, 2022, the tunnel broke through in November 2023, and was officially opened to traffic on the morning of July 29 this year.
The completion of the project will effectively improve the traffic quality of Xiuyan East Exit, shorten the distance between the ridge area by nearly 2 kilometers, improve the traffic conditions in the ridge area, and facilitate the travel of the people.
