The dumping investigation period in this case is from January to December 2023, and the injury investigation period is from January 2019 to December 2023.

The applicant used the export price of US$2.47/kg from Chinese exporters to Brazil during the survey period as the export price. The alleged dumping margins were $7.74/kg (ad valorem) and 313 per cent (ad valorem range).
In this sunset review survey, the investigation agency will continue to use the sampling survey method, and it is expected that the list of sample enterprises will be released next week.
The main timeline
1. Relevant sample enterprises must submit their responses within 30 days from the date of receipt of the questionnaire, and can be extended by up to 30 days.
2. Other interested parties (e.g., consumers, industry associations, etc.) may apply to participate in the investigation within 20 days from the date of the announcement of the case filing.
3. The interested party shall appoint a legal representative to the Pakistani side to respond to the lawsuit, and submit the authorization document of the legal representative after notarization and authentication within 91 days (non-extendable).
Historical case circumstances
On June 5, 2008, the Brazil investigative authorities initiated an original investigation, and on September 9, 2009, the original final ruling was made, imposing anti-dumping measures of US$0.75/kg
